He was laying frozen beside her.
How can someone be so frank about a thing like that.. how was he supposed to answer a question like that...
She didn't back off. She was desperately waiting for an answer on the other hand.
Jungkook was in his own world. He wasn't looking at her while looking at her. His thoughts had completely taken over his form.
According to him, it was definitely more than a one night stand.. but how was he supposed to let that out of his mouth. He can't frame a verbal sentence and his words felt stuck inside his throat.
"Umm..." He tried to utter something.
Eunjae's eyes saddened. She didn't realise what she had blurted out suddenly. But what can you expect from a 23 year old woman to say who lost her virginity a night ago. She had no idea how it all works.
She held her gaze away from him as she spoke. "I am stupid. It w-was-"
"N-No.. I..." He paused. "It wasn't. I mean..." He hesitated as he shifted in the covers to get a clear view of her face.
"... I haven't experienced anything like this before, Eunjae. I want to be honest with you when I say that I might have hooked up with numerous girls but you-"
He wrapped his arms around her bare figure and pulled her closer as he felt the tension release a bit. "-I have feelings for you, Eunjae.. I don't know whether it will be too early to say this but.. I really like you."
He finally said it. And it felt light on his part. But how much he wished it to be mutual..
"You like me?" She questioned with an expressionless face.
Jungkook nodded, bringing her face closer to kiss her forehead and her face lit up by a smile "How do you feel about it?" He wished he could get something in response.
"Sore."
"What?" His eyes big as he looked at her.
"I feel.. really sore."
Jungkook tried to control it but could not help it. He bursted out a chuckle and her cheeks immediately flushed red. She punched him on his chest to stop him but only his melodious laughter was audible in the empty suite.
She just realised how much she loved to see that bunny teeth of his. His smile was beautiful... So beautiful. She hid her face in his chest and he held her in his embrace trying to control himself.
