"what in the hell is your problem?" i hear kei ask after I flop my head onto the table here in the campus' garden.

"i didn't get to sleep that well." i reply, trying so hard to catch my sleep even just for a few minutes.

"oh. did you have fun with the twins last night?" yanaguchi, who is beside kei, asks and i answered him with a simple nod.

"how about that brother of yours? did you tell him about what's happening?" kei asks with a worried tone. it's kinda rare to hear but i'm glad that even though this friend of mine is so salty you could definitely use him for dishes, he still cares.

"i didn't tell him. if i did, tobio-kun is under the ground right now." i answer.

"whi wouldn't bury him? i mean, what kind of brother would want to see his younger sibling breaking down because of this? man, if i were kageyama, i'd rather play volleyball than this." yamaguchi sighs and gasps.

"speak of the damn devil who just came straight out of hell." and there it was, kei's irritated voice.

"atsumu-san told me you came over their residence last night. how was it?" he asks, tapping on my shoulder.

i lift my head up and i saw how wide his smile is as he was handing me a milk carton while drinking on his own.

"thanks. it was great, especially when i got to talk to the two of them deeply." i reply, taking what he was offering me.

"mind excusing her first before you jump in?" kei suddenly asks out of irritation while yamaguchi tried to calm him down.

"kei." i call out to him, telling him to shut his mouth.

"hey, how about we plan a date tomorrow? just the two of us." tobio-kun says, lowkey excited.

though i could see kei from the corner of me eye that he was sending daggers towards me, i accepted his offer. besides, we don't really get to hang out due to practice, schoolworks, and of course, the girl he's courting.

"akright. see you at the movies tomorrow at 5:00 pm." he smiles, leaving the scene.

"why did you accept him? how are you going to get over that stupid jerk if you keep on accepting him?" kei asks with an eyebrow raised.

"shut up. it's not like he's a stranger for me to reject." i smile.

"whatever. don't come crawling back to us when you've hurt yourself with your decision." he says in an annoyed tone and diverts his attention elsewhere.

"tsukki, be nice. we'll be by reo-chan's side when she gets hurt." yamaguchi says, smacking tsukki's arm.

"count me out." kei answers, rolling his eyes.

i shrug, ignoring their conversation as i saw tobio with akari, smiling so widely.

"i've never seen tobio-kun smiling that wide before. guess he's really heads over heels for her." i smile faintly before sighing.

when i felt an arm around my neck, i was startled, especially when it started pulling me away from the scene.

"tsukki?" i hear yamaguchi ask.

"let's go back to the classroom before you'll produce a flood with your tears." kei says, making me smile.

without kei noticing, i glanced back at the two and smiled wider.

he looks so happy.

i always wished that he would show me that smile that wide.

but i guess he'll only show that to her.
