"Fi! Wake up!"

You heard Link yell to you. You opened your eyes and looked around the room, Link was standing in the door frame and ran toward you.

"Fi, we have to leave now."

He looked stressed. There was not a trace of fear on his face though. You asked him what was wrong and he answered;

"A monster is attacking Skyloft, we have to leave!"

"A monster is attacking Skyloft? Why?"

"We don't know, all we know is that it's there, and it's really dangerous, so we need to leave now."

You got out of bed while Link grabbed some clothes for you to wear. You changed quickly and followed Link out to the statue of the goddess.

"Fi, can you call yesterday's Loftwing?"

You told him you weren't sure and asked him what he was planning to do.

"You have to jump. I'll follow after you."

You could see he was lying, he wasn't planning to jump after you.
You were planning to call him out on it when the wind suddenly rose. It was strong, you could hardly stay upright, yet Link did not seem to have a problem.

"It's here"

You could hear him mumble.

"Link what is here?"

You yelled at the top of your longs, the wind was loud, you could feel it cutting off your breath if you faced the wrong way. In the distance you could see some people approaching, four to five of them, and they were getting closer faster.

"Damnit. Fi!"

Link turned around and faced you.

"Close your eyes."

You were too surprised to close your eyes, Link ran towards you at full speed and continued to the platform dragging you with him. When you were close to the outermost edge of the wood he didn't slow down however, he embraced you and held you close to him as he jumped off. You could feel the clouds breaking as your back hit them, it was that same pleasant feeling as the last time but more calming, you felt save with Link, even though he practically just threw you off of Skyloft. Link was above you, still holding you tight, and whistled on his fingers. His Loftwing soon moved under and caught you both. The feathers of his Loftwing were soft and you were surprisingly comfortable in between the two of them.

"Link what are we going to do now?"

You looked at him, his face was vaguely pink thanks to the wind. His mouth may not have been smiling, but his eyes were.

"I don't know."

He looked down at you and smiled, genuinely.

"But I'm sure we'll be fine."

(A/N) Hey, it's... Been a while...
So this chapter is a little under my minimum amount of words, but it's mostly just to let you guys know that I'm still not dead, and I am planning on continuing this story. I just... Need to find out how.
It's also been a while since I saw anything skyward sword related, so this is going to be interesting (I've been playing Breath of the Wild, please come fangirl with me.)
