Trioan held my waist and we danced and danced as if we were the only two people on the dance floor. I stared deep into his eyes and I couldn't help but wanna stay right there forever. He smiled at me and I smiled wide at him. As we fell deeper and deeper in our state of bliss, I heard a familiar voice behind me.
??- Wow, you used to look at me like that
My entire heart fell out of my chest and onto the floor as I turned to see the one person I dreaded ever seeing again. Trioan, looked behind me with clear confusion in his face and I turned around, standing face to face with one of the biggest mistakes I'd ever made in my life, Zayden Porter.

My entire expression changed and I stood there, frozen and unable to understand why Zayden was even standing in front of me right now. His usual smirk was plastered on his face and I wanted nothing more than to wipe it right off but I remained unable to even move. Trioan, finally breaking the silence that seemed to take over despite the environment we were in, spoke up.....
T- Amaryllis, do you know this guy? Z- She knows me very well. Isn't that right, babygirl? A- You've got some nerve
I turned to the side and saw Adrianna with her arms crossed over her chest, staring Zayden down as if her look alone would make him vanish into thin air.
Z- Always a pleasure to see you, Adrianna A- I definitely can't say the same, Zayden
Jacob spoke up from behind Adrianna.
JA- You guys, what's going on? A- It's a long story for a different time and atmosphere but Zayden I would definitely love to know how you brought your ass all the way across the country as if you weren't picking up on the clear indications that my sister wants nothing to do with you
I'd finally managed to find my voice again, saying....
AM- Yeah, why are you here? Z- Isn't it obvious? I came for what's mine
He took a step towards me and I felt Trioan's arm instantly wrap around my waist. I looked up at him and he stared Zayden down, never wavering. Adrianna immediately stepped directly in front of me and said.....
A- There's nothing here that belongs to you, Zayden
He looked between her and Trioan, lightly laughing before continuing......
Z- I beg to differ but all in due time A- I suggest you take your ass on somewhere before I forget that I'm a lady Z- Oh, is that how it is? A- That's how it's always been and don't forget I got plenty of people on speed dial waiting on your ass too Z- Oh trust me, I'm not worried about any of that. I didn't come unprepared. I actually have a gift for you, Dri A- Only my friends call me Dri ?- What about your boyfriend? What does he call you?
We all turned once again to see yet another familiar face approaching. I couldn't believe the sight before me and neither could my sister. My sister, however, wasn't going to back down and I was thankful because one of us needed to be the strong one and, at this present moment, it couldn't be me.

A- I should have known you wouldn't be far behind if Zayden managed to find his way here Z- What can we say? We both have some unfinished business to attend to. Wouldn't you say so, D? D- I definitely would, Zay A- *lightly laughs* No, y'all really don't. Devon, I don't know how or why you let Zayden talk you into this one but let me make one thing clear
She stepped closer to them both, staring Devon deep in his eyes.
A- I left your ass on your porch back in Florida and I haven't looked back. You and I are finished and there is nothing left for you here. Nothing at all
She turned to Zayden and continued......
A- As for you, Zayden, let me catch you near my sister and I will beat your ass like the bitch you are
With that, my sister grabbed hold of my hand and led me towards the exit, making her way back to the car with Trioan and Jacob following swiftly behind. We all stood by the car and Trioan and Jacob both just stared at us. Adrianna sighed, heavily as she held me close and I just stood in silence, unable to truly comprehend what had just happened. She, finally, said......
A- Alright, well, I'm sure everyone has some unanswered questions and the night has clearly been ruined but you guys are more than welcome to follow us back to our place and we can talk there. I'm not in a party mood anymore so we're definitely gonna head home
They nodded their heads and made their ways to their cars before getting in. We all drove back to the house, making sure to let Jaden know what was up and stopping to get something to eat on the way as well.
