Nightmares no more [Handsome jack x reader]

You were sleeping peacefully in bed with jack. He had you in his arms holding you in a protective matter not wanting to let you go.
You were still wide awake but were slowly drifting off to sleep. You were reading a book while your husband was holding you already passed out while he had you in his arms. You soon started to get tired and felt like you were gonna be passed out any second now. You close the book setting on your nightstand turning off the light, nuzzling into Jack's chest. Falling asleep.

~Time Skip~

[(Y/N) Nightmare]

"No! None of this is true! None of it!" You ran and ran trying to run in different directions trying to find an escape but you keep getting stuck in a black void of some sort. The black void that kept telling you awful things about your husband. Kept saying that he never liked you or never wanted to be with you or was just using you as his source of pleasure. You screamed at the lies...at least you hope they were only lies and not the ugly truth that people would always say. You kept running and running and...

[The dream ends]

You wake up breathing heavily. Cold sweat was dripping down your forehead as you looked around panicking. "Hey hey calm down baby your alright," you look at your left seeing your husband with worry and concern as he cupped your face with his hands making you look into his mismatched eyes, "it was only a dream baby" Your eyes start to fill with tears as you quickly cuddle close to him and start sobbing. He cuddled you close holding you gently, "Shh its okay I'm here baby," He said as he  made circles on your back trying to calm you down, "Everything is alright it was just a dream nothing is gonna hurt you," He looked at you softly and smiled softly as well. You looked up at him with red puffy eyes and a flushed out face, "B-Babe," You said stuttering a bit, "You love me right? You promise you won't let me go? You promise you will stay with me? Forever?" You said still having a tint of softness in your voice from crying. He looked at you and frown a bit, "Of course i love you baby. I always have. Ever since the day i met you i fell in love with you so quickly i was like a skag catching its first meal after going hungry for a week." You giggle a when he said that. He always had a funny yet terrific way to explain things. You loved that part of him and you've always have. God what would you do without him in your life? Who knows. You snap back to reality when you felt a pair of lips on your forehead. You blush softly and smile at your husband, "Now how bout we stay up watch some movies and snuggle up together eh?" You smile happily, "I would love too." You two got out of bed and proceed to go watch some movies out in the living room snuggling close and eventually falling asleep together on the couch.

Yeah i kinda had this sitting in my drafts for a while now lmao it feels good to get it out now. I was kinda struggling of what i was gonna write for this chapter but when i started writing it more i figured it out. If that made any sense lmao anyways hope y'all have a good one and remember!
