It happened ten years ago.

We were just kids.

It was terrifying.

I don't blame her for what she did,

Even though it hurt me more than it hurt her.

A sunny, bright day.

The small, white, timid Lilies contrasted the harshly black colored Roses.

The warm rays of sunlight hitting the small garden perfectly reflected the light and happy mood.

...

Choose your blessings.

What's happening?

I've come bearing two blessings. Now, you must choose.

A pair of very light green eyes with a red outline and a slightly blurry red figure in the middle and a pair of cream white eyes with a light yellow outline.

" !"
She shouted, as confident as she always was.

Very well. That leaves you The Blinding Eyes Of The Devil.

Before I could run away, scream for help, or even fight back, I couldn't see.

Pure black.

My vision resumed seconds after, but something wasn't right.

I looked at her, my best friend, or to say...

My only friend.

What was that?

"My eyes! I can't see!"
She cried.

I caused it.

I didn't know how, but it was me.

I froze in place, unable to run and help her.

Unable to apologize for the mistake.

She pushed me back.

"You did this on purpose, didn't you!"

I couldn't avoid falling back, but the hit didn't hurt, what hurts more is what she said next:

"You're a monster!"

I couldn't even tell her that it was an accident.

She walked off.

The next few years were pure misery for me.

She was put in the hospital, as she was permanently blind.

I was ashamed.

It was my fault, after all.

After a few days later, I found out that rumors have been spread about that day, saying I intentionally blinded her.

"What a monster."

I heard while walking out the school gates.

"I can't believe she'd do that."

"I always thought she was nice."

"We should stay away from her, or else we'll get blinded too."

"Please! I'm begging you! Please help my sister!"
My brother pleaded to a priest.

"I'm sorry son, but I can't interact with a Devil girl."
The old priest replied as he walked back into the church.

"D...DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU AND YOUR WHOLE RELIGION!"
My brother cried.

"J-James... Did I do something wrong?"
I cried silent tears.

"Why?! Why did this happen to you of all people?!"
He shouted through tears.

He didn't have bad intentions to hurt me, he was just scared, and acting irrationally.

But after all of this Hell, I snapped.
