A Nice Day At The Diner (?)

I was sitting at Dianne's Diner, sipping a cup of coffee.

"Aren't you a bit young to drink coffee?"

The kind waitress asked me.

"It's not the best thing for a kid."

"What do you mean? I'm seventeen."
I replied.

The waitress laughed.
"Sorry, I thought you were twelve."

I am pretty short, 140 cm, and am pretty slim, so it's possible to think I'm younger than seventeen.

"It's alright."
I giggled.

I took another sip from the cup.

It was a beautiful sunny day, so surprisingly quiet.

My brother James always told me how dangerous this city was--

"OW! ZAPP! CUT IT OUT ALREADY!"
I heard a voice call.
Right after, a tall, dark-skinned man with a white suit and a shorter, fair-skinned man with a white shirt, navy-colored sleeves, and navy colored pants walked through into the diner.

"Oh, hey Zapp. Hey Leo."
The waitress said calmly.

"Hey, Vivian."
The fair-skinned brunette said.

"What's up?"
Vivian continued.

"We're looking for someone. Did you happen to see a short girl with her eyes closed and ochre blonde hair? Her name's Elizabeth Hope."
The taller one claimed, pulling out a picture of me.

"That's me."

I said.

"Do you need anything?"

"Since you're James's little sister, I assume you know a thing or two about the organization."
The tall man lit a cigarette.

"Libra?"
I asked.

"Jeez, does a big mouth run in the family or something?! Didn't he ever tell you not to say that name out loud?"
The tall man rolled his eyes.

The brunette sighed.
"Zapp, cut her some slack."

"Hold it, Zapp? As in, Zapp Renfro?"
I asked.

The man, who is suspected to be Zapp Renfro, raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, why?"

"So you're the 'clueless monkey' James always complains about, huh?"
I said calmly, and somewhat smugly.

"WHAT!? THE BITCH SAID THAT?!"
Zapp shouted.

"Yup, you're the guy."
I sighed in exhaustion, thinking about how I'll have to work with this obnoxious man-child.
"And don't curse at my brother."

"Yeah, whatever..."
Zapp rolled his eyes and walked towards the exit.
"We're timed, so hurry up."

"Sorry about him."
The brunette apologized.

"Don't, with all the unique people in this organization, you're gonna have a couple of assholes."
I smiled.
"So, who're you? I haven't heard about you."

"I'm Leonardo Watch. Nice to meet you, uh... Can I call you Lizz?"
He said awkwardly.

"Only if I can call you Leo."
I laughed.

"Sure."
He laughed in agreement.

I walked over to Vivian, paid for my coffee, and left with Leo to find where Zapp left to.

"He might've taken the shorter way through the more dangerous street..."
Leo said thoughtfully.

"Alright, let's go see."
I shrugged.
