The boys had a long awaited day off, the previous day had been very busy especially for Luke. They had an acoustic show, a couple interviews, and to top it off an actual show, it was an understatement to say his voice was warn.
Ashton woke up to a warm body snuggled into him, all he wanted to do was stay in that moment. Unfortunately his bladder was screaming at him to get up, so he carefully peeled Luke's arms off of him gently, the younger boy just grabbed the pillow and cuddled into that. After he used the bathroom, he went to the kitchen and like always he was the first one up. He decided to make toast with vegemite, after about an hour Malum decided to wake up and join him. What really worried him was that it was almost noon Luke never sleeps in till noon, he just brushed it off as being tired from last nights show.
Michael and Calum planned to go, and do some sightseeing with their day off. "Hey Ashton, would you and Luke like to join us?" Calum asked. "Let me go ask Luke." Ashton quickly ran up the stairs to their shared room, when he opened the door the younger boy was in the same position he was in before. Ashton lightly shook Luke, all he got in return was a groaned. Ashton signed, and returned to the kitchen. "Nah guys I think Luke and I are going to stay here, he's still sleeping. But you guys go and have some fun while you can!" Ashton said, with a slight chuckle. Calum nodded and grabbed Michael's hand and ran out the door. Ashton laughed at Calum's enthusiasm.
The older lad, walked back to his room, and Luke was still sleeping. He tried to wake the boy, "Come on Lukey, you gotta get up." Luke turned to look at Ashton and shook his head, then pushed his face back into the pillow. "Babe, what's wrong?" The shorter boy asked voice filled with concern. Luke winced as he cleared his throat, "M-my th-throat h-hurts." Luke said on the verge of tears. Ashton was quick to wrap the hurting boy into his arms, "My poor little penguin, how about we cuddle?" The younger lad nodded.
Around 30 minutes later the older boy, was massaging the younger lad's throat. Luke hummed in response. Thats how the two lovers spent their day off with lazy day cuddles, throat massages, stolen kisses, and the exchanges of i love you's. When Malum came home they found the lovers together arms and legs laced together.
