Chapter 6 - Just Add Confrontation

Hey guys! Sorry for the late update! I just had a really bad case of Writer's block. This is Lily's (My Name is Natalie cupcake) friend and i got really confused with the plot for a little but here it is! The following chapter contains a quote from Netflix's A Series Of Unfortunate Events, which is going to have a surprise in this story later on, enjoy! :))

Do you think we'll finally find out who spelled the lift and kidnaped Leo?" Zoe asked as the three of them made their way to the hotel.

The hotel that day seemed closer than it did on Halloween, when they had to walk a long distance with Gina Silvers.

Every step they took made them want to turn back, front, both sides and pretty much everywhere, and see if anyone was stalking them or doing something suspicious.

They walked closer together than ever before, they didn't want to take any risks of strangers tracking their every move.

Not only did this keep them safe, but also warm as it was cold outside.

They reached Bay City Esplà Hotel in about 20 minutes.

Since the hotel was on the other side, they had to cross the road to get there.

Once the lights flashed green, they crossed the road carefully.

"We don't even know what we're looking for." Ish said.

"We're looking for me! Are you guys okay?" Clone Leo said.

"It's what they say, you'll know it once you see it." Zoe said, looking up as her partners did too.

They were standing outside the hotel, looking up and staring at the tall building and observing its structure.

"Okay. We're here. I'm happy that we still made time for school." Ish said.

"Come on, let's go inside." Zoe said.

The three walked in without wasting another minute.

They passed the beautiful topiaries on either side of the golden revolving door that lead them inside.

The hotel was huge on the inside, it was the most expensive hotel in Bay City.

"People who are staying here must have big money." Clone Leo said.

"Yes! It's so huge and it must be pretty expensive." Ish said.

"Woah." Zoe said softly, astonished by the huge interior of the hotel.

"'Woah' is right. How are we supposed to find him in a hotel this big?" Ish said.

"Clone Leo, just for safety, if someone really did kidnap you from this hotel, they'd freak out to see two of you and/or might be mad that you escaped.

You should go, at least for now." Zoe said, suggesting he should break the spell that time.

"Okay, I understand," he said, "it's not my rightful place." He finished, and within moments, he vanished and faded to nothing.

"Well, he's gone." Ish said, raising her upper lip and widening her eyes.

"We really don't know where to look. And just for your information, I'm not going to repeat asking a million people if they have seen Leo."

Zoe said, pulling her head back and waving her hands to a 'no'.

"It won't be a million, I promise. Just the management and maybe a couple others." Ish said.

"Ugh fine." Zoe said, huffing.

The two girls walked up to the management desk.

When they arrived, they couldn't really see the manager's face since he was hidden behind a tall table.
