Chapter 1
''MAYA'' called my mom and dad. I was hoping they were calling me to tell me that the agree that we should go to NYC for my birthday. I walked down stairs and my mom told me to sit down and eat dinner. We ate in silence until my dad started saying that they had talked about my birthday and decided that we could go for a couple nights. I started screaming and I told them that i was going to pack and get ready to leave. THE NEXT DAY.... ''Hurry up'' I say to my dad as he troughs out of the house and into the front seat of our car. We stopped in Nebraska for a good rest for the other ten hours in the car tomorrow. We all woke up at 6 and showered then got on the road. We made it to Chicago at 7 and we found a motel in a suburban part of Chicago. Mom didn't want to stay her but we had no other alternative. In the early morning I heard a rustle at the door and then the door creaked open and i saw three hooded shadows walk in. I closed my eyes and pretended I was asleep while I heard my parent trying to scream.
