The middle school bell rung, letting out all of the kids for the weekend. Julia, Alex, Oliver, and Maya were all best friends, and walked home together every day. Lately, a lot of strange talk has been going on. The news was turned on everyday at Julia's house, with her family focused on it like their life depended on it. That morning the news had some nerve wrecking information. They had said that an astroid appeared to be heading for the Earth. No one took it seriously, though. This kind of thing had been said a lot lately, but it hasn't happened yet.....
(Several hours later)
" Julia, turn on the news, now!" Julia rushed over to the T.V in a panic. The news broadcast system had a warning on. "A Huge astroid is heading for Earth.. take shelter as soon as possible........ We've just been informed its multiple moon sized astroids. This may be it lady's and gentleman." All of a sudden a loud bang came from the front door. "OPEN UP" Julia hid, while her mom cautiously opened the door. The men rushed inside asking for Julia. " Were here to take your daughter, Julia. Were the only way she's staying safe. "I don't understand.. You can't take her!" " Ma'm we're not leaving without her." The men frantically ran around trying to find the girl. "Found ya! You're coming with us. We're here to keep you safe."
The same thing happened at her friend's house as well. The four of them have been chosen to survive from their state. four people of verying age groups were chosen to go up into space and survive with the advanced technology from NASA.
" Good evening. I am Josh, your watch keeper for now. The four of you have been chosen to survive up in space. Its the era of a new time."
