Dear diary,

"Welcome back diary.. We weren't at Mercury for long at all. The sun was so bright that Julia started to go blind even with sunglasses provided. I still can't believe this is happpening. Well now we're headed for Mars, which is going to take a while to get there. We have to pass venus and Earth again to get there. I'll update when we get there." - Maya

The trip was very long. It took about 170,000,000 miles to get there. On the way there, Alexander looked out his window to see astroid's. It was so interesting. They were like miniture planets. In the other room, Oliver sat on his bed on the verge of tears. He missed his family. The only thing left of them (In his mind) Was a song. One of the lyrics whent like this:

"If the world comes falling down... there's nothing in this world i wouldn't do for you"

When Juliana walked in Oliver's room and saw him crying, she sat down and told him: " It will be okay. I miss them too. Just remember we get to survive now. And we get to see outer space. I know it's hard. But we'll get through this. Just think of all the possibilities we have now..."

The speaker came on. It was finally almost time they would arrive . "Attention everyone.. Were very close to entering Mars. Before we do, here is some information. 1) It is possible this will be our home, because we CAN grow plant's here for food. 2) 1 day here is 1 day and 37 minutes on Earth. 3) Lastly, It doesn't have nearly as much atmosphere pressure as Earth."

When the spacecraft stopped and the people began filing out of it, they were surprised by how it looked. They had heard that scientist's think life was once here, so maybe they might get to see some aliens. The caretaker led everyone to the dome where they would try to survive. It was huge, and had oxogyn, and a green house for them to grow plants in.

The next day, Oliver and Maya went exploring to see what they could find. They heard a noise and walked over to it. Then they saw something. Weird looking things. They didn't know what it was, so they called for help. It turns out it's some sort of life form. The perfect place they thought Mars was, isn't so perfect. They couldn't stay.
