"Michelle do you have any update on my two O' clock appointment"? I said to my secretary "No Miss Nathans I don't, sorry" i sighed in fustration not at her but at the fact that the person I was suppose to be working on this case with still wasn't here.
Before getting back to work I got a text saying,
"Why don't we go clubbing tonight?
I automatically knew that it was Delaney texting me she always talking bout hitting the club with her crazy ass, but thats my bestie,
Me- I cant because my parents want me and my siblings to come over to have a nice family dinner, maybe saturday we could since i don't have to work
she said okay and told me to tell mama dukes and pops that she said hey. After replying to her i soon got another text from my other bestfriend Jazlyn saying,
"Laney Crazy self text you"?
Me- " You already know"
Jazlyn is closer to me don't get me wrong all of us are stuck at the hip, but me and Jazlyn grew up together she really has it going for herself he is currently engaged and She is a Computer Forensic Analyst, so yea she making money
Another hour passed and it was time for me to get off so that i could head to my parents house. Before going there I stopped at Delany's bakery to pick up some dessert to take to my parents house,
"Hey Laney I need you to hook me up with some dessert to take to my parents house" I said nicely but in a rushed tone
"Okay Kins hold on!"- Laney said being loud, I swear that girl is naturally loud. Once i seen her come from the back she had a Chocolate Cake in her hand and told me that this one was on the house. I blew her a kissed and headed to my parents house, i really didn't want to go because something always goes wrong and because my Mother is always asking about my love life and i simply tell her the same thing everytime that i just haven't found the right one. She thinks just because my sister Kaitlyn is married and has a daughter that i need to be doing the same but im not ready for all that.
After about 30 minutes i arrived to my parents house and took a deep breath and got out the car, "Well here I go"- i said out loud to myself
