Once I walked in the house in the house the smell of my mother's cooking hit my nose.
"Kinsely is that you"- i heard my mama scream from the kitchen
"Yeah Mama it me"- i made my way to the kichen, putting the cake on the dining room table and kissing her check?
"Where is everybody at" i asked looking around not seeing my father, Kaitlyn and her family or my brother Kameron
"They are all down in the den, could you go get them because dinner is ready"
"Yes Ma'am"
I walked down to the den where everyone was at and peacked my head through the door
"Hey Everybody"
"Hey sis" - my brother and sister both said at the same time
"Hey Kinsely", Josiah my sister Fiance' said
"Tete Kinsley!"- My niece Kaleigh said while running to me
"Hey baby" planting a kiss on her cheek
I just adore my niece so much I really couldn't wait to have a child, i just needed to find the right person to have one with
"Hey Kins, how you doing babygirl" my father asked with his masculine deep voice
"Hey daddy, im doing fine",
"I came down here to tell yall that the food is ready"
As soon and i said food and ready Kameron was the first person to get up and run to the kitchen, we are started laughing because he is the most greediest person. Well all got to the dinning room table and sat down in our usual spots.
I was so hungry my mama made Macaroni, Fried Ckicken, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli, and Rolls, i was about to dive until my mama hit me talking about
"Girl what you doing, you know we got to say grace"
"Im sorry mama"
After my mama said grace we all dug in, it was complete silence until mama decieded to speak up
"Kinsley so how is work"
"Its fine"
"Thats good to hear, how about you Kaitlyn how is teaching going"
"Its actually great i love my students"
"Good Good i am very proud of you both, if only i could get your nappy head brother out my house"
We all started laughing except for Kameron who didnt think anything was funny
"Kinsley so have you found anyone your interested in"... Oh God here we go again, this is a every family dinner routine with her
"No mama i have not found anyone who i'm interested in, mama can you please not ask anymore question about my realtionship life " - i said with a little attitude
"Ok ok i was just asking because i just want to know when im going to get some grandchildren out of you"
"Ma leave the girl alone you bug her about this every dinner, she will find somebody, i mean if she doesn't its this new doctor who works at Josiah's Hospital who is about your age"
"Really Kait, you were on my side at first"
I was pretty much done with this conversation so i told everybody bye and kissed my daddy and mama on the cheek, and i heard my sister say
'Im going to text you about this"
I mentally rolled my eyes, i left the house and headed to my apartment.
