I Don't Need Love Chapter Three

Once i got in side my apartment I went to change out of my clothes and into my pajamas I laid down and sighed

"Why is this an everyday thing for me"

"Both my best friends have somebody to keep them company, but im the only single one"

"UGGHH"

I really didn't care about talking to myself because im all i have right now and everything I said was true. I was knocked out of my thoughts when my phone began to ring signaling that my Best friend Delaney was calling, I really didn't feel like talking, but I decided to just answer

"Hi Delany how may I help you"- i said trying not to sound like i didn't want to talk

"Hey Chica Jazlyn is on the phone too but what you doing"

"Nothing, i just got home from my parents house"

"OH how did it go?

"It was fine you know she brought up the usual about why I still don't have a boyfriend or why she still doesn't have a grandchild"

"Wow Kins, but i kind of agree with her, like you haven't even thought about being in relationship since that breakup with Andre, its time to move on love"

"I agree" i heard Jazlyn say

"Whatever, What y'all want"?- I said  kind of irritated now

"I was calling to see if we could go out tomorrow night because, Devonte wants to take me out Saturday"

"Yeah that's fine Laney"

"Yeah that's fine with me" Jazlyn said

"Wait Jaz Jason about to let you go to the club tomorrow"? - I said causing me and Delaney to laugh

"Girl i am grown, but nawl i didnt tell him yet"

"Well Kinsley and Jazlyn be ready by 9:00, goodnight "

I put my phone on my nightstand and closed my eyes i just wanted some rest today had been a long day.

While looking at a couple cases that i had to represent next week there was a knock on my door

"Ugh, Come in"

"Well Hello to you too"- my sister Kaitlyn said

"Hi Kaitlyn, what brings you by my office"

"Well i didn't have work today so i thought i'd come to your job and talk about that guy Ayden I was telling you about"

I sighed an rolled my eyes at her how did i know that was what she was here for

"What about him Kait"

"I want you to meet him, it would be really nice for you to start dating again, maybe you woudn't act so depressed"

"I'm not depressed, but w/e Kait I guess i could meet him, because you know Delaney be trying to put me on with people so I rather it be you picking somebody out for me"- i said causing her and myself to laugh

"Yayyyy" she said getting a excited

"For you to be the big sister you act like a little kid, but where is my niece"

"She with her daddy as usual"

"Well she is a daddies girl, just like i was"

"Yea yea, but w/e me and my babies are going out so I will see you later"

"Bye Kait"

After she left i got a text from Jazlyn 

Jaz: Guess who's getting out the house Today!.... I laughed but then replied

Me: Wow that's New

Jaz: Girl i know right it took a lot of begging to get him to let me go i swear he act like my daddy, i'm going to have to put him in his place

I started laughing because she is such a wimp when it comes to him, but they are really cute together

The day went by pretty fast and I was so happy that I didn't have to come back tomorrow, when I got home i decided to start getting ready a little for tonight. I went into my closet and stood there for a couple minutes because i couldn't find the right outfit, after looking through all my dresses i chose my all white bodycon dress and my Black red bottom Louboutins. I laid my clothes on my bed and got in the shower.

I got out the shower 40 mintues later and it was 7:00, I sat in front of my mirror and started on my hair I chose to wand curl my hair because I wanted something different. After I finished i started on my make up, I decided to text Laney before i got dressed to see where she was at

Me- What time you leaving your house?

Laney- I'm getting ready to go pick up Jaz now

Me-Kk i should be ready when you get here

I sat my phone down and started to get dress, after i was done I looked at myself in my full body mirror

"Ooo I Look good"

After fantasizing about myself my doorbell rung I took my time because I already knew who it was,

"Hey Kins, dont you look fine"- Laney said walking in

"Thanks, yall don't look bad yall self" me and my bestfriends do look fine though

"Well Are you ready to go" Laney said

"Yeah let me just grab my purse"

Once i grabed my clutch we headed out the door, i didn't know what club we was going to so i decided to ask

"Jaz do you know what club we going to"

"Nope Laney said it was a surprise"

"Yup it is so don't even ask me"- Laney said being loud for now reason

In my head i was panicking because I don't know where my crazy Friend was taking me, for all i know she can be trying to get me killed

"Please Lord be with me and protect me because you don't know how crazy this girl is"
