"Aizawa, I'll miss you."

Aizawa POV

"Y/N!!!" I had yelled out as I booked it down the road. I was in school still. I had stayed late cause I fell asleep in class today so I had to get some notes down so I couldn't meet up after school. I wasn't with her. I wasn't with Y/N.

"Y/N?! Answer me damn it!!" I yelled into the phone but I didn't hear anything. Nothing at first.

"Ai...zaw...a...."

I heard something faint. It was weak. And then I heard a wheeze.

"Y/N? Y/N where are you?!"

I saw the bar up ahead and dashed inside. Why are there so many stairs?! I was running upstairs when I looked down for a second and saw a couple small, fresh, red dots on the ground.

I remember she had slipped. I heard it on my side of the phone.

"Still alive are we?"

I heard an unfamiliar voice in the phone.

"Who is that? You leave her alone!!"

I started to run faster now. Why didn't I just travel from the rooftops? Now that I think about it, that would've been much faster. Better then climbing the stairs.

"Don't worry about who I am. Just what I'm going to do with this little fool."

The voice on the other side of the phone laughed. I heard Y/N groan. It sounded like something was hitting her and I heard a whooshing sound. It sounded like there was a storm. Or just really windy weather but that's not right cause it's a nice day out.

I grip my phone as I see light up ahead and I run as fast as I could. I finally made it to the roof and I looked around.

Where is she?!

"Y/N?!! Where are you?!"

I yelled out hoping that she would answer. I ran to the ledge and looked around. I had a bad feeling and I looked down.

"Y/N!!"

I saw her bloody and beaten body; and it was being dragged. She was being dragged into the black smoke. I heard her groan a few times which made me sigh with relief. At least she wasn't dead. I thought she had died. I was scared.

"Sh-Sho...."

She, weakly, looked up at me and smiled as much as she could. And it wasn't a lot. It looked strained and like she was in a lot of pain.

"Y-Yo..u...ca-came..."

She put her head on the ground as she passed out. I don't know if it was from blood loss or exhaustion but, either way, it wasn't good.

"How cute."

"Leave her alone!!" I had dropped down the side of the building. Grabbing onto whatever I could and not caring about what happened to me. I just wanted to help her.

"Hahah! She will make a decent meal for my little beauties. See you next time, hero!"

And just like that, they were gone. I stood there. Silently crying. Tears rolling down my face.

"No...no...no..."

I stumbled back a bit as I gripped my hair.

"No...this...this can't be happening..."

My back hit the wall and I slid down it. Shaking my head and saying the same thing over again.

"No! No, no, no!!"

She's not gone, there's no way she's gone.

I closed my eyes. I actually put my hands over them as I cried. I can't believe this.

+

"Y/N." She said to me. I didn't ask her anything but she just said it to me anyways.

"What?" I asked her and she just smiled at me. It was really cute.

"My name is Y/N. Thank you for saving me. You're my hero."

+

I'm no hero...I didn't save her. I didn't do anything..

+

"Shota Aizawa. But you can call me Sho." I said and I could feel her smiling.

"Thank you for helping me Sho."

I had nodded and I just kept smiling. This big goofy smile. Why? Maybe I liked someone showing me appreciation. Is this what a hero feels?

"It's no big deal, I'm in school to be a hero; so it only makes sense for me to help someone in need. Don't you think?"

"Even if I'm quirk less?"

+

"Even if you're quirk less. I will save you Y/N."

I got up and wiped my eyes. This wasn't ok. I'm not going to sit here and cry for her. I'm going to do something about it.

"I promise."
