There were only a few words written on the paper that Nii's body lunged over. What if they don't get what I'm trying to say? she thought. She flipped the paper over and smashed it to her bag. I wonder what Temii is doing. We only have five days left. She pushed her chair in and scrambled over to Temii's room. Her hands pounded on his door.

"Hello, Nii," Temii said. He gave a yawn that was so loud, Nii wondered if it was fake. He was wearing a simple purple gown.

"I need to show you my draft," Nii said. She almost shoved the piece of paper into his face.

"Woah! You need to slow down. We almost have a week," said Temii.

"Please," Nii said

"Sure, wait here while I get some food," he said. Temii left the room, and Nii stared at the tiny floral designs on his green wall. For a second, she could see the other version of herself, A girl with pink skin, and a multi-layered embroidered dress. Temmi pushed open the door, and everything reverted to normal. He was grasping a little ceramic cup and a plate full of red berries. He sat down next to Nii, and she placed the paper in his hand. Certain words caused his eyes to linger on them more than others. But, he finished reading the draft in a few minutes. The paper sat between his fingers.

"What did you think of it?" asked Nii.

"It's okay so far but, it's not going to convince them," he said.

"Why?" she asked.

"It's too direct. The first thing you talk about is how Senton's leadership replaced Niotian's. Then, you talk about how Kilamore has ruined Siliand. I know those guys are jerks, but both of them will be in the audience so you have to convince him and his followers," he said. Nii felt uneasy. Will I have to argue with that red-eyed man again? she thought. She improved her posture. Well, I guess I can really prepare, Nii thought.

"What do you think will convince them?" she asked.

"Honestly, I'm not sure," he said.

"Have you started your draft yet?" she asked. There was silence for a moment.

"No, sorry," he said.

"Do you have any idea what you're going to write about?

"No, I'm still thinking," Temii said. I have not thought about this much since we saw Kilia," Temii thought.

"Okay, let's think of some ideas," Nii said. She placed her hands on the table. Everything went blank. Lilia's long pink arms reached into a jar of ink. Nii could only see the lines on her paper for a second until she flashed back to the normal world. "Well, Senton started colonizing countries after Lilia they killed Lilia. Then, they reacted in a way that Lilia would've hated. So if we can find Lilia's letter, it might make them think about the situation in a different way," Nii said.

"We can try it, I don't know if it would work," he said,

"Do you have any idea of where her script is?" Nii asked.

"She usually did not take her scripts to speeches because she did not like it when people read at their speeches. Her drafts should still be at Kilia's temple because..." His voice got quieter. "I did not want anyone to destroy her stuff,"

"Let's go there then," Nii said. She folded the piece of paper and pushed her chair in. After Temii saw her standing, he put down the little ceramic cup that had almost reached his mouth and shoved the last few berries in his mouth. She followed Temii out of the room because Nii could not remember the exact pattern she was supposed to follow through the maze of buildings.
