Running From The Truth (Hiatus)

Arc 1: Chapter One

I hung up the phone tonight
Something happened for the first time deep inside

It was quiet. The only sound being the soft patter of water droplets as they splashed on the sink every second, followed by the air conditioning. But still Izuku was no idiot, and he knew his victim wasn't one either. They were aware of eachother in the house, but he still wouldn't reveal himself yet. He wanted him to get scared just a bit more.

After almost a minute of staying still, he heads towards his room. He was done playing this game.

"W-whose there? I-I'll call the cops, or w-worse t-the heroes-"

"Don't. That'll be troublesome...but honestly...I doubt they'd come for something as little as this that happens to someone knew everyday," Izuku says, covering his mouth before using his Quirk to end it all.

"Are you done killing people for fun?" Dabi asks, sitting by the window. Izuku shrugs. "Yeah...although I would like to kill someone who'll atleast fight back." he says. This was his nightly routine. Go out and kill innocent people in their house without people knowing. Because that's what they did to him. That's what they did to All Might and his mother.

"Enough of that, we have to leave anyway. Shigaraki wants you back at the hideout. I think he has a mission for you," Dabi says as he leaves. Izuku mentally groans but follows along.

He wasn't exactly a fan of Shigaraki. Firstly, he's the main reason why his mother and all might died. Despite the brainwashing, he could still remember what happened that day, clear as crystal.

It was around that summer, right before he would be becoming a second year. All might came over for dinner, and even slept over. That's when they snuck into the house and killed them both in their sleep. They kidnapped him and ran all these tests on him. Brainwashed him.

But they also opened a few doors for him and made him realize that being a villain was what was best for him. Not only that, he was able to access 100% of one for all with them.

Another reason why he didn't like him is because he didn't like being ruled by someone who put them in reckless predicaments that led to luck being their only savior. Not only that, he wanted the head position for himself, not that he'd try anything yet. The only reason he'd stay quiet for now is because he had to earn their trust just a bit more.

"Glad to see you're here. I have a mission for you." Shigaraki says.

Despite wanting to rudely comment back, Izuku decides it's best to keep his mouth shut.

"I'm sure you know about U.A, that big fancy school for heroes?" He asks.

Deku nods. "Didn't I go there or something? Although I don't really remember the people there..." he says trailing off.

"You did, which is why I need you to infiltrate the school. Get info on your classmates that will be the next biggest hereoes and take them down. You understand?" He asks.

"Yeah but won't they like recognize me if I go under the same name? Plus my appearence?"

Shigaraki sighs. "We made your fake body look like you were killed a long time ago, they all know you died. You'll also be going under the name Ryu Takahara."

"Takahara sounds nice as a last name but Ryu? Seriously? Why can't my name just be Deku?" He asks.

"Your an idiot! No one can find out about you being the real one."

Izuku shrugs a sinister smirk on his face. "They won't, you trust me don't you?"

Shigaraki stays silent before nodding. "Fine, I do. But if you ruin this mission your dead. I trust you'll make the decision on what to do with your quirk."

Deku nods. "I'll use 100%, I need to be intimidating. I'll say my Quirk is super strength or something."

"Glad that your having fun." Shigaraka says, annoyed already.

"When do I start?" He asks.

"Next Monday, you'll also be living in the dorms with them so pack your stuff. Also, behave and don't cause too many fights. You can't get kicked out just yet,"

Izuku nods and with that he leaves, heading back to his room.

All the fun would be beginning soon.
