There was sense of numbness that fell upon all the girls. All in their own form like a matter that could not be described in words. The only way you could've felt that numbness is though actually being in that person's point of view.

It was as if their ears went deaf, all their senses shut off. They could only hear the echo of sirens though their ears.

Jiyoung looked at Taesun with readable eyes. Eyes that were filled with uneasiness, fear, and uncertainty. Something she had no explanation for. Why were they betrayed like this? How did they not see this coming?

"I'll be needing this back." The CEO who had ultimately learned of the theft from his office, personally came to the crime scene. He snatched the large and wide brown envelope that was in the police's hands.

"Excuse me sir, that's important evidence-" the police stopped the CEO from leaving with the crucial piece of paper putting the girls into jail.

"Don't worry, I have a footage from the security cameras that show them leaving with this exact paper." The man chuckled.

"Thought you could leave with this huh?" He whispered next to Lihua. At that point, she wished she could've kicked him in the area that would have ended his lineage.

"GET ME OUT, WE'VE BEEN FRAMED. WE TEAMED UP WITH THE NIS!" Chaejin yelled as she refused to go to the prosecution office to be questioned by those scary looking people.

"Don't spout nonsense. The NIS never said that." One officer replied as he pushed Chaejin into the car with no warning.

"These police officers look at us if we're filthy criminals who don't deserve one ounce of respect." Taesun looked at one straight in his eyes knowing that if she was going to be disrespectful, she might as well do it properly.

"WHERE'S JUNGWOO!? FIND HIM!" Taeyong was now going ballistic as three NIS agents stopped him from going into the water. "We've already sent a search team to look for him."

Suddenly his legs felt like they lost all strength as he fell to the ground. He couldn't help but cry. He promised to himself that no matter what happened, he would keep his team safe. Anything could have happened to him, but his team members...no one could've touched them.

"This is the best we could do." Another NIS agent bent down to Taeyong's level reassuring him with a pat on the back.

Weirdly, Taeyong felt a sharp pain in his arm as if it was a needle piercing though his skin. The last thing he heard was Johnny yell his name before his vision went blurry.
