I stud in shock. I couldn't move nor talk.Kai got up and looked me dead in my eyes. " Are you ok moni." I looked in his eyes and they had sadness and worryness in them. I opened my mouth to talk but I couldn't. I didn't relies I was crying until Kai rubbed the tears off my face. " Baby what's wrong." He said again I just hugged him. " I thought.....I thought they were are real parents." I said. Kai rubbed circles on my back.
"Come on we can go see what he was talking about." He left me and picked up Kristen. He grabbed my hand and we started walking out of the pack hospital. We walked and talked but I just couldn't get what he said off my mind. We walked in the pack house and was greeted by my so called mom. " Mom can I speak to real quick. She nodded and told me to follow her. I walked her and we entered a diffrent office other then that man I called father.
She sat behind the desk and crossed her arm. " What do you want to talk about?" She asked me. "Well when dad came in to tell me how I felt with the rouges stay in the back and how he can trust them he said I wonder if your real father loved you like I do." Mom eyes got wide she looked at the wall and my eyes trailed to what she was looking at and I saw her and man in 4 diffrent pictures smiling with baby girls and one boy. " He was talking about my real mate. See me and your father the one in the picture he took me out one day after the day we gave your brother away and we were talking about when to get you back. He stopped and sniffed the air and caught the sent of rougs." She paused
" We saw about 5 of them emerg from the woods and he pushed me behind him. I wanted to help truly but he told me to run. I ran but soon as I was far enough I felt are mate bond break. I cried as soon as I entered the pack house I broke down crying. About 2 months pass and my father told me to move on and that's how I met your step father."
She said shuck my head as I got up. " Why didn't you stay and help my father needed you but you ran. Why mom why." I yelled. She got out of her chair and walked to me. I felt this pain in my face. I turned and ran out of her office. I ran to the front of the house and ran out into the woods. I shifted in to my wolf and ran. As I was running I smelt humans in the air. I slowed down and the smell got stronger. I stopped andsaw light and heard people talking. " We attack tomorrow men we will kill every last one. Do not take mercy on kids and women kill them to." He looked into the woods and smirk. "Rest up men tomorrow we go to battle."
