Lime and Cassidy

" Are you happy?" The black haired female asked tears forming in her baby blue bell eyes. " are you fücking proud of yourself?" She snapped as glared at the light haired male in front of her. " YOU CANT TAKE THAT BACK LIME!" She yelled his actual name. Usually the girl would snicker a witty nickname of some sorts.

The boy that the black haired female called Lime took a step back. " you cant just kiss me, and tell me that you care for me and that you fücking LOVED ME" she took a step forward as some of the tears of pure anger fell from her eyes.

" Cass-" The male started before " NO! No! No........no Cassidy this or Cassidy That! JUST SHUT UP AND FÚCKING LISTEN TO ME!" The female named Cassidy barked as she pushed Lime to a wall of their small cell that they had to share. They got caught when the were weak and from behind. " You can't say that you love me and then just turn around and say you didn't mean it" she took a step back. Her expression softened a bit it's cause she was hurt.

It wasn't that long ago actually, only a couple of days. Where Cassidy and Lime went on a small job. Nothing to big. But it escalated to something much more. At least for the black haired female.

The two had to share a bed. It was an over night job and they accidentally only got a one bedroom instead of a two. So they just sucked it up and slept in the same bed. What they weren't expecting is what happened next.

The girl was sitting on the males lap with her hands tangled in the males slightly messy hair that she was always dying to touch. As the males arms were pulling the girl close by her waist. One of his hands traveled down to her ašs, but the girl didn't mind. She actually loved it.

The two just shared the same longing, the same lust for one another, the same need. They just continue for what felt like hours. It wasn't perfect. But it was perfection in the eyes of the girl at least.

"I love you."

" I love you too sprite"

Cassidy looked down as tears not coming from Anger, but from pain. The girl was shaking as she said her next statement " It hurt when you say that. It hurt more then any wound or physical pain I ever put on myself" she looked up as she told the male how she felt. " So are you Happy?"

" what?" The male was honestly annoyed that Cassidy was making such a big scene in his opinion. It wasn't the first time she asked him about this matter. But the way she was talking this time was different The the time before.

A couple days after that job. The two went back to there daily routine of the female going on jobs and the male scolding her for not being careful enough, but this one time the male was fixing up the female. She asked a question.

" why are you ignoring me?" She asked simply. You could hear a hint of fear. She was looking the male dead in the eyes.

" what are you talking about idiot?" The male asked as he wrapped the girls leg as he scoffs " you should really be more careful I swear to god you get hurt more then my fücking sister." He scolded her

" why did you say it?"

"Say what?"

" I lov-"

" I didn't mean it."

That moment the girl got up and walked out the room. " I'll be going on another job. Enjoy your free time" she walked out slamming the door behind her.

" THAT YOU MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU!" She screamed at the male. Cassidy whipped her tears. As she hiccups softly as he lip quivered. The girls naturally curly messy hair was worse then normal. She took a shaky breath and looked down her hair covering her face.

" I......I didn't tell you to fall in love with you" The male almost sounded like he forced himself to say it. But it was an almost.

" No, you didn't. But the things you naturally did. Made me. It made me HELPLESSLY Fall in love with you to the point I would to STUPID things." The black haired female laughed softly as more tears came flowing back.

The girl covered her eyes. " to the point where I would make sure I got hurt on jobs so I could have you scold me and fix me up when I got back. To the point where I purposely pick fights with your sister to just hope for a glimpse of your attention. To the point where I craved your attention." She looked up glaring at the male. She hiccups as her lip quivers" I just wanted your attention. It's stupid right? I'm just stupid girl. Who fell for stupid boy. But this stupid girl fell in love with the stupid who said that she loved the stupid girl. But he lied. And that hurt the stupid girl more then she could EVER imagine" Cassidy hiccups afterwards as she sobbed softly and grabbed her shirt.

" Cassidy I-"

" I SAID LISTEN!" She yelled cutting lime off once again.

" I CANT LOVE YOU!"

" WHY?!"

" BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY WAY I CAN PROTECT YOU!"

" protect me......YOU DID THE ONE THING THAT COULD HURT ME!" Cassidy screams back as she took a couple steps back.

" Im protecting you from my-" Lime grabbed onto his shirt as he was now shaking a bit. But he was cut of by the girl once more

" I know who you are. Your mother told me." Cassidy said softly. The male was about to speak again but the blue eyed girl beat him " why do you think I talked to her so much?" No answer. " Because I wanted to know about you. And I've known about you demon for a while." She told the male with a soft smile. " and it didn't scare me away." She laughed sadly.

" But it doesn't matter anymore...." Cassidy smiled softly as she walked to her bed. " you don't love me so it doesn't matter." She sat up in her bed. Lime followed the girls lead as he sat up in his bed. On opposite sides of the small room.

The male was still in shock. Then the girl shocked him more. " once this is over Im leaving Fairy Tail. I'll be out of your hands. You won't have to deal with an issue like me anymore. " Cassidy hiccuped.

" Cassidy....no you can't..."

" Sprite. If you ever even slightly cared about me....let me go."

" fine......idiot"

The rest of the night was filled of silent sobs. Neither one of them slept that night. They just sat there. Filling each other's company for one last time. Team Nala came and saved them that morning. Well more of Eliot and Jasper did , don't worry Nala and Zendaya were kicking some ašs.

Cassidy and Lime kept there words. Cassidy left Fairy Tail after everything. And Lime let her. Everyone was shocked. Cassidy made some excuse saying she just needed to find herself somehow.

That was the last time Lime saw Cassidy Alive. She got herself killed on a job. Blood loss. If Lime was there to help her she would have been fine. And ever since that day Lime heard the same words in his head, it haunts him for the rest of his life.

" I love you too Sprite."
