Fairy Tail Next Gen with Bobby and Fantris

Part Seven

It's been about two months since Zendaya died and to everyone's knowledge team Nala was out on a job requesting Jasper. Well Jasper and Nala. Everyone seemed like they were doing better after Zendayas death. All but one, Laxus. Of course Mira and Lime weren't the best but Laxus was the worst.

He had that expression. That one that anybody could read. Shattered. Broken. He lost his baby girl. His youngest and his only daughter. Every other night he drank. And he drank a lot. And when he wasn't drinking he was training. The he would go do work for the mean time, drowning himself In silent sobs as he did so. Mira would often come to try and cheer him up but he would just Lash out.

Today wasn't any different. Laxus was sitting up stairs at the moment. He doesn't show his face much anymore to the guild. The guild didn't blame him. The guild was different with out Zendaya. It lost its spark to Laxus. Life lost its spark.

Mira, Lisanna, Lime, and Lana we're behind the bar currently Lana and Lisanna we're serving food while Lime and Mira were washing dishes. Mira then started to cry. It was random moments like this were it hit Mira the hardest. " I'll never wash her plate" she sobbed and lime went over and grabbed his mother and hugged her.

Lana and lisanna came soon after. Miras child died. At least to there knowledge. Mira silently sobbed as she was being hugged by her family. It was a hard time for the Dreyar family. Until, there was a little spark.

Laxus was sitting like he usually does. Leaning back in the chair, his feet on the table, his head tilted back, and eyes closed. He also was listening to music to drown out the sounds of Miras crying. So he didn't cry himself.

The blonde then opened his and lift his head up. That smell. He could never forget it. He would never. That candy Cherry smell with a hint of vinegar. It was weird yes. But only one blonde deemed that smell. The smell was a bit off, but Laxus just shook it off. He rushed down the stairs to see the guild look at him.

It wasn't often Laxus would show his face after his daughters per-calmed death. But the expression on his face. Hope. Hope that the person he had been missing the most in the world. The person.

Then the door is the guild swung open. Everyone was looking at the person. It was someone with a black cloak and the hood was up to hide their face. Mira and her family walked up to the front of the bar. They stood there. Waiting.

The doors of the guild closed as the hooded figure stood there. Almost shaking. They waited for a minute. Seeing all the eyes peer on them. All familiar faces. Just different to them. So similar. But so different. It was strange.

Laxus then saw the other dragon slayers. First he saw Natsu. Natsu knew the scent. It was like a second daughter to him. His eyes were widened full of shock. Then Gajeel. He had an expression of complete disbelief. Next was Wendy who had tears filling in her eyes. The twins could smell it two. The just looked at each other smiling. Lastly, Cassidy Williams. The girl that always fought with his daughter. She was crying. She knew who it's as.

Hooded figure looked around. She then saw Laxus standing about 10 feet in front of them. That candy cherry smell with a hint of vinegar. It was her. It had to be. And soon enough the hooded figure revealed themselves.

There stood a girl. About 5'7 or 5'8. She wore black combat boots. With that's what had a gray skirt to her dress. The top was purple. The girl wild unkept hair was down and fit her nicely. Her hair was also shorter. Only hitting about her her mid neck. Her Blonde hair. Then you would see her striking purple eyes.

Zendaya Dreyar.

Laxus wide smile turned into a frown after he noticed a few things. First thing he noticed was the smell. Yes it was similar. That Candy Cherry And hint of vinegar. But there was a splash of villana. Then was her stance. It was lacking that overwhelming feeling of confidence. Then lastly was her aura. It was lacking Her spark.

" you're not her." Laxus said simply.

Mirajane walked up to him in disbelief "Laxus. What are you talking about." Tears filling her eyes as she held onto his arm. He had to be lying. That was Zendaya. Her baby right there.

"He's right. I'm not her. Well. I'm not this worlds her at least." The blonde female said sweetly. And Mira then saw it too. The differences between her daughter at this girl.

" what do you mean this world?" Lana came up asking.

" lana!" The blonde looked excited. She then coughed and regained her composure. " I come from a world similar to yours. But also different in so many ways" the sweetness in this girls voice never faded.

The whole guild looked confused and shocked.

The girl in front of them was Zendaya Dreyar. But just from a different world. A world that this Worlds Zendaya knows oh so well.
