Chapter five

The next day..

Alicia waits for Ali in front of her house.. as usual, general already left early morning to MATA headquarter.

Alicia wears a green long sleeves turtleneck sweater and matched it with a black tight with a pair of brown boots.. she also wears a green headbands and a sling bag..

She took a quick glance at her watch.. 11.20 am..

'He's late.. again.. sigh..'

She took out her phone to check on her waustagram.. she scrolled for a few time then she heard a car engine near her.. she looks up and reveal Ali's car in front of her..

She walks to the next of Ali's seat and enter the car.. "you're late." Alicia said.. Ali nervously chuckled and rubs his neck.. "sorry.. i had a little problem with comot earlier.." Said Ali..

Meow!

Ali and Alicia a bit shocked.. they look at the back seat and see Comot with an innocent smile.. "Comot! What are you doing here? How do you get here?" Ask Ali.. Comot rolls her eyes..

"Meow!" Comot frown.. Ali let out a big sigh.. "I'll send you home.. you cant follow us.." said Ali.. "Meow!" Comot protested .. Alicia looks at Comot's face and let out a sigh too..

"It's okay.. you can follow us.. but you need to be invisible okay? Or you'll be kicked out." Said Alicia as she pets Comot's head.. Comot purring.. Ali's startled when he hear Alicia's words..

"B-but.. Alicia.." Alicia looks at Ali's face with a smile.. "what? There's nothing wrong with it right?" Ask Alicia.. Ali who still dumbfounded looks at Comot.. Comot stick out her tongue at Ali..

"Ali?" "Okay fine.." Ali pouted and rolls his eyes.. Alicia smiles sweetly at Ali..

Ali park his car at parking lot.. Ali and Alicia looks at each other then at Comot.. "Comot.. You want to go or not?" Ask Ali annoyed..

Comot wakes up from her sleeping.. "Meow!" She's smiling at both Alicia and Ali..

Ali and Alicia already bought their movie tickets and sat on a bench near the cinema.. Ali pets Comot who's sleeping on his lap..

He tries not to make it seems obvious since shes invisible now (im not sure if comot can be invisible when shes sleeping)..

"So.. the movie is starting in 30 minutes.. what should we do now?" Alicia broke the silence.. Ali taps his chin.. "wanna get some ice creams?" Ask Ali.. Alicia shakes her head.. "No.. i'm not really in a mood for ice cream.." said Alicia..

"Then?".. Now, Alicia is taping her chin.. "urm.. its still kinda early to buy snacks.. hm.. i think i wanna go to the book shop.. you wanna come with me?" Ask Alicia as she stand up..

Ali smile and nods.. "yeah sure!" Then he stands up..

MEOW!

Comot yells as she fell from Ali's lap then she immediately runs to i-dont-where..

Everyone nearby looks at Ali and Alicia with weird look.. "meow?" Ali said awkwardly..

Ali carry a small paper bag stuffed with books in it.. Novels to be exact..

"So, youre done buying books, miss i-read novels-but-still-manage-to-get-A+s-in-every-single-subjects.. huh?" Ask Ali sarcastically because he waited for 25 minutes for Alicia to choose and buys those books..

Alicia rolls her eyes.. "looks who's talking, mr. I-got-an-A+-for-biology?" Alicia stares sharply at Ali..

Ali swallow his saliva.. "okok.. lets go buy snacks and watch the movie.. it's starting any minutes by now.." Said Ali..

As the movie end.. Ali and Alicia walked out from the cinema and sat on the bench that they sat on earlier..

"Isn't that movie was sad? I cried when Cole kissed June and said.. "this is our first kiss.. and i hope this is not the last".. then he ran to war.. That's so sad!" Said Ali half-yelling.. "nah, that scene is gross.." said Alicia coldly.. "you're jealous of their loves.." said Ali as he lean in closer to Alicia with a smirk..

"Eww, for you information, mr. Ali Ghazali.. i am not that type of girls who obsess with loves and romance.. so, please.." Alicia push Ali's face.. "yeah, right.. how about these novels?" said Ali with a smirk still on face.. "where is Comot, actually?" ask Alicia changing the topics.. Ali gives Alicia the 'i dont know' looks..

Awkward silence.

"S-so, Alicia.." Alicia look at Ali in the eyes.. "we've been best friends for long time now.. and.. urm..  i might.. urm.. you know?"Ali stutter.. his face turns red.. Alicia raise her eyebrow.. "What do you want to say exactly?" Ask Alicia..

Ali looks at his fingers.. "I-i.. i think i had fal-"

Meow!

Comot rubs her head to Ali's leg.. Ali and Alicia look down..

"Comot! There you are!" Ali said as he lift Comot and put her on his lap.. "Comot! Dont show yourself!" Said Alicia a little panic..

Comot looks at her owner and Alicia.. she rolls her eyes then she become invisible.. Ali and Alicia looks around if anyone saw them.. they let out a relieve sigh when they realized nobody's watching..

"So, what do you want to say again?" Ask Alicia.. shiver running down his spine.. "ouh.. urm.. i-i want to tell you that.. i.. i think.. erm.. i had fall-"

Teet! Teet! Teet!

Ali groans.. They both look at their phones.. it's calls from MATA.. They look at each other and runs out from the mall..

"Jom, Comot!" Comot follow them 'couple'..
