everything we set on in life is an illusion,
we take everything we have for granted,
sooner or later, we realize that it could be taken away from us without any warning.
thank you coronavirus,
because of you, my thoughts boiled down to the realization of focusing on what's most important in life: myself, family, and community.
thank you for teaching me to be less impactful,
and to be more kind to our environment and surroundings.
maybe coronavirus is for the better?
because of this pandemic,
we are left with no choice but to reduce travel,
so that the environment, skies, air, and our lungs get a break.
for the first time,
we're seeing clear blue skies, and clouds in forever
working and studying from home than commuting to work,
less pollution, more personal and family time.
throughout the course of self-isolation,
i was able to be more proactive,
reduce my amount of screen time,
by taking on new hobbies and discovering new skills.
i was able to discover my refound love of baking,
excercising, to keep myself active and healthy,
a lot of reading to further educate myself,
and a lot of reflection.
during this time,
i was able to appreciate and never take my health,
my body,
and how lucky i am to still be youthful,
ever for granted.
never had i onced experienced this much peace,
throughout my existence.
i wondered,
maybe this is God's way of telling us to start appreciating things,
appreciate things we tend to overlook,
and take for granted.
maybe it is God's way of telling us,
we should take a break from everything.
a break from hectic work life,
stressful school life,
and focus more on what's really important.
