🌹CHAPTER SEVEN🌹

Waking up the next morning, Lena gives me breakfast and she eats with me. But for a moment I thought I was back in the hospital bed when I woke up and it confused me when I realized I was here but then I remembered that I am in this place, which I don't even know where is.

"So, what is it that you have as a surprise?" I ask Lena and she gives me a mischievous smirk. "I'm not telling, at least not yet" She says and I playfully frown. I'm not one that likes surprises and she knows that and I think that is the right reason why she's not telling me.

"You're annoyingly sometimes, you know?" I ask her and she nods her head at me and then we both share a laugh. I can laugh now without the pain and I love it. Lena had again given me that thing for the pain and it makes me feel so much better.

"I know, it's my specialty" She tells me as she stands up from the bed and takes both of the trays that she had brought the food on when she game in. "Believe me, I've noticed" I tell her and let out a soft giggle. "I'm going to get that surprise now" She says and she gives me a smirk.

I'm not exactly sure what it means but then again Lena has been a little strange but I just shrug it off. She leaves the room to get that surprise and I keep wondering what surprise she could possibly be thinking of but it could always be some cake or something.

That is something typical Lena to do, get me excited and then bring cake. Not that I don't like cake, because I do but she's purposely trying to get me exited for a simple cake. And I would be expecting something great, but I just don't know what it would be.

Minutes have passed and she hasn't return and I think she's doing that on purpose because she wants me to get impatient. I don't even know what it is. But I really do want to know what surprise she has. In truth, all this has been a surprise.

This place and Lena being with me the whole time, it's kind of surprising and I don't understand it, but then again I don't think I need to understand it. Because she's my best friend and she says that it's all right and then I believe her and I know it's all right.

The door opens and Lena steps inside with her hands behind her back. I raise an eyebrow at her, wondering what she does have. I know it's small enough for her to hold it behind her back, but that does make me curious about what she does have.

She comes and sits on the bed. "You can guess what it is but I know you will never be able to guess" She says. And the question still remains inside of my mind of what it could be and now I'm even more eager to know what she has behind her back.

"Clothes?" I ask her, I have been wearing the hospital gown since yesterday and I've been wearing it for a couple of months in the hospital itself. "No, but a good guess" She tells me with a smile on her face and a glint in her eyes, an evil one, I'm not sure.

"I honestly don't know what it could be, I can't guess and you know I'm too impatient to guess any longer" I tell her but she already knew that and she only giggles and takes her hands from behind her back and shows me what she was hiding.

It's a bracelet of some sort, made out of a black string with pearls on it. It does look beautiful. "This is for you" She says and takes my right hand and puts it around it. The pearls are cold to the touch and they send shivers down my spine. "Lena, this is beautiful" I tell her.
