Jessica flipped through the CD's on the top shelf, looking for her favorite one. She finally found it, the 9th one from the right. Please Please Me by The Beatles, released on March 22nd, 1963. She loved a few bands, and had many arguing points if anyone ever DARED to disagree. She mostly liked Queen, The Beatles, and Richie Valens. Oh, and she was in love with someone who left her for a boy. Abbey Harrison and her rare blue eyes, that went perfect with her auburn hair. She always told herself, "If I ever get a girlfriend and she leaves me, I'll get over her easily because it means she wasn't made for me!". She had said it since Kindergarten. But look at her now, about to listen to the most relatable song for that, because she couldn't take her heart back from a girl who had broken it. She always knew Abbey was out of her league, but when the girl confessed to her, a spark of hope appeared for her. Then there was Daniel Morrow. Abbey's true love. Well, let's just play the damn album now and get over this bird.

She put on the 4th song, Chains.

"Chains, my baby's got me locked up in chains"

She remembered when Abbey had first told her how she had supposedly felt, when they were alone, sitting in their piano class.

"And they ain't the kind, that you can see"

She remembered when she heard Abbey talking about Daniel, in a way that seemed a little off.

"Woah these chains of love got a hold on me, yeah"

She didn't have to remember Abbey telling her that she was leaving for Daniel, who had already become her boyfriend to feel the pain. It still hurt.

"Chains, well I can't break away from these chains."

'This part hits, because my stupid self can't let this idiot girl go' She thought.

"Can't run around, cause I'm not free"

These lyrics seemed true to her, because she didn't feel free yet. She felt trapped.
