Charlie tried to calm their friend as she rambled on and on about how maybe, just maybe Abbey liked her again. "Jeez, Jess.. you've got to get over her.." "B-but maybe she does, like she smiled at me-" "That's cause she thinks of you as a friend, I smile at you twenty four seven!" Jessica sighed. "Hey, Jess, don't be too sad! We can hang out after school, y'know we don't talk as much as we used to, so let's catch up today, yeah?" Jessica nodded, a little disappointed that her friend didn't agree with her. Jessica ran off to her first class, Charlie following quickly. "We have first period together, dumb-nut! Where do you think you're GOING!?" they yelled across the hall, struggling to keep up. Charlie finally made it in to class, and sat next to Jess. "So, you big idiot, what are we gays gonna do about you and your pointless crush? You need to get your eyes off of her, she has a boyfriend, remember? Daniel??" they said. Jessica nodded. "You're right, Charlie... so could you be my wing-person so I can get a girlfriend then?" she asked. Charlie's expression lit up and they smiled. "Yeah! Ok, so I have a few friends that are girls, just let me know which one you like, ok?" they said. Jessica nodded.
