I was eating a bowl of stale lucky charms. I saw a spider the size of a quarter dart across the floor. I kept eating my cereal. Four weeks ago that would have made my lose my apatite, but now I was used to it. The others had gotten used to slender man taking me under his wing and talked to me now.
"He he! Rose!" Sally was on Rose's back. A smile was plastered on her face.
"Hold on Sally! Here we go!" Rose ran across the broad living room, careful to not let Sally slip.
"Go go!" Sally screamed in delight. Rose jumped and galloped, skipped and slithered, all to please Sally. Rose was trying to catch her breath. She halted. Sally giggled and slid off of Rose's back. She wobbled and fell on her but. Rose ran to aid Sally.
"Oh Sally! Are you ok?" Sally's eyes were glossy with tears. Her face got red and her voice was strained.
"I'm ok." Rose picked Sally off the floor. Sally hugged Rose and closed her eyes.
"Are you having fun you two?" I said as I put my bowl in the porcelain sink. They looked at me and smiled.
"Hi James." Sally said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Good morning." Rose said as she let go of Sally. Rose walked over to me.
"How was you-" Rose was cut off by a voice.
"Aha!!"We all ran to the source of the "aha" Jane was in my room. In her hand she held a blue creature. It had wings that looked like shredded leather. It's skin was slimy and had scabs and cuts. It's eye was a deep blue, and in the center was a bright red dot. It had a beak with fresh red liquid dripping down it. It had horns that curled in whimsical ways, like wisps of smoke coming off of a freshly put out candle. It was a blue like an ocean. Cuts on it's skin oozed a blue liquid, the same blue liquid that I found on Jane's neck. The overall body shape of the monster was a tube sock.
Jane's hand had a gash in the back of it. Blood was dripping down her hand and onto the monster. It looked like the monster made the gash with it's beak. Jane held a baton in her other hand. She looked like she was ready to, or had already, beat the monster. It hung in her hand in a pitiful manner. The monster's eyes darted around the room, and came to a rest on me. It opened its beak, reviling a row of pointed teeth. They were white that was stained with read. Drool fell out of its mouth. Splat. The drool hit the floor, more to follow.
Jane hit it with the baton, shook it, and finally dropped it. The minster made no effort to get up. It laid in the middle of the floor. Blue liquid puddled around it. It's mouth hung open in a silent scream. It's eyes still were on me. It finally batted a wing and moved it's stubby tail. It got on its stomach and flapped it's ripped wings, getting it nowhere. I looked at it in disgust. It squirmed and wiggled. No matter how hard it tried in couldn't get off the ground. It gave up and let out a small noise. It arched it's back, bringing its head underneath it. It flapped it's wings with might. It grew. Bigger and bigger, till it was the size of a small dog. The body grew lumps where arms and legs would be. The beak shrunk and became more fleshy. The eyes enlarged and the head became a face. The arms grew fingers and the legs grew toes. The tail shrunk into the body, like a frogs would. But the wings kept growing. The skin grew to a lighter shade of blue. A blackness rapped around the large body of the entity. It straitened it's back and the darkness turned into a robe. It opened its eyes, the red pupils burned into my soul. It smiled and a row of sharp white teeth, stained with red, could be seen. The cuts on it's skin still oozed the same putrid liquid as before. Horns on its head reached for the sky, twisting and turning in the most abstract way.
"We meet again blue." Jane said to this entity.
"I guess we do Jane...I guess we do..."
