Chapter 2

I hear noises. It sounds like machines beeping. Where the fuck am I? I open my eyes to seeing balloons and flowers and so much more around me. I look to my right and see my mother asleep and to my left I see the beautiful angel sleeping. He looks so cute. I try to talk but it came out as a grunt. I hear my mother wake up. "Mattia! Mijo!" I hear her say a lot. "Doctor! Doctor!" she says running outside the room. Soon I see Kairi pop up and is by my side. "Matti! You're okay! Your awake" He said with tears in his eyes. "y..y..yes I am bubba" I say in a faint voice. I guess I've been asleep for awhile. "Don't cry love. I'm Okay." I say and grab his hand. The doctor then comes in with a smile on his face. "Hello Mattia. My name is Doctor Raymond. Your in the ICU at the hospital. Do you remember what happened?" He asked. I really don't. I just remember the fight. "I remember getting a fight and being dragged off and that's it." I say with honestly. "Well Mattia, when you were brought in by your friends, we found a stab wound in your abdomen. It wasn't very deep but you did lose enough blood to be in a coma for four days." The doctor said. I was shocked, he stabbed me. What the Fuck! That is not a fair fight. Oh wait till I get a hold of him. Wait, I remember him not moving. "We will need to keep you for another night to make sure your okay and well to go home. I'll order you some lunch. I'll be back in" The doctor says and I nodded. As soon as he left I turned to my mom and asked "What happened to Tony? I remember his brother saying he wasn't moving! Did I kill him?" I asked with tears in my eyes. My mom quickly grabs my hands and says "No mijo. You did not kill that him. I promise. I've talked to his parents and they said after he pull his weapon on you, he went to get you but stabbed himself. He's going to be okay. But after he is released from the hospital he will be charged with attempt of murder. Mijo, he is never going to hurt you again." As she says that. There was a knock on the door. We all looked over to the door and say The older Lopez brother. "May I come in?" he asked. My mom was about to say no but I said "yes". Kairi and my mom looked at me crazy. "Mom may you please step outside?" I asked with puppy dog eyes. She just nodded and gave Ondres the dirtiest look in the world. " I will be outside that door. God help you try something." She said and the older brother nodded. "Un nino tan stupid. Mocoso de aspect feo pelo de casco." My mom said walking out. I chuckled. She basically said he was stupid then called him an ugly brat with helmet hair. I love my mom. "Can I talk to you alone?" He asked and looked at Kairi. Kairi goes to walk away but I grab his hand and say "No. He can stay. What do you have to say to me Lopez?" I asked with a more serious tone. "look I saw what happened. I know my brother pulled a knife on you and I want to apologize for his actions. I don't know why he would do that. I really don't. I can't make it better. I can't do nothing but apologize for my family's sake. We do not want any enemies." He says. I can't tell if he in sincere or not and honestly, I don't give a fuck if he is. "Look thanks for the apologize I guess but I do not accept. He was talking horrible about my best friend. Then he wants to pull a weapon on me. What the hell is that about? Look thanks for coming up here though man but I will never forgive and forget what happened." I said. "If you need anything, please call my family or I and we will help you." He said. I nodded and moved my head to the door so he can leave. They truly don't know what I can do. Kairi looked at me and pouted. "It's okay love." I say. I patted a spot on the hospital bed near me. He crawled into the bed and cuddled in my chest. "I love you Matti. I hope you get better." He said. Soon after I hear the younger boys' soft snores. I knew he was asleep. He's so beautiful. He really is. I whispered in his ear. "I love you too sweet angel. I love you so much. I'm sorry you will never know how much I truly love you." I pull him closer to my chest and close my eyes. This is how I want to be forever. I want to hold the younger boy in my arms.

The next morning I woke up to having someone wrapped in my arms. It was kairi. I smiled. "Goodmorning Mattia"  A lady in scrubs says. I whisper "Hello" "Your mother told me to tell you she will back. She had to run home. How are you feeling?" She says in a quiet voice. "I'm doing better. I'm not as sore" I say. She nodes. She went and checked the machine I was plugged into and wrote down some numbers. While she was doing that, I looked down at the sleeping boy in my arms. He really warms my heart. I wish I could love him like I want to. "I will bring you both breakfasts." She says with a smile. I just nod and fall back asleep peacefully holding the boy in my arms.
