Chapter one- Falling to the clock

I leaned my head against a hard stiff chair in school, while I'm thinking to myself that I hate my life I look over and here a silent conversation. "I heard theres going to be a new kid" instantly I of all kids shot up in my chair. The kid next to me must have read my mind or heard the conversation too. Then the teacher announces " there will be a new kid joining us today " his name is Adam
I raise my hand. She calls on me " yes Tyler " in a raspy voice I asked when he was coming. Soon she said I sat down with my headphones on listened to music on pandora with my head back. The door whips open... Everybody looks up. Black jacket, sunglasses, and a purple necklace thing that looked ancient. I'd never liked anyone more then susie who left in fourth grade i'm 21 I shouldn't like a guy I should be flirting with girls and not chatting with boys. But a clever attraction said otherwise, He stared at me for ten minutes then somebody quoted a movie " HA GAYYY! " the teacher called him out of the room to talk. Adam passed me a note. It read in scribbled writing of a dull pencil...you feel it to?. I couldn't lie I said " yeah we need to speak after lunch. The teacher came back in class and as always, saved by the bell. For my next two classes all I could think about is Adam only Adam no math or periodic tables only Adam I repeated his name in my head over dozens of times sending my self to split away from reality. The teacher screamed " TY!!! " I looked up. Half past ten? He told me to get to lunch now. I walked to the cafeteria with a bristle like handle on a lunchbox gripped and clutched in one hand in the other the note from Adam. The name stuck to me like I couldn't breath without it. As I walked in just silence. I hated it I sat down next to Adam and whispered " whats going on " he politely pointed over to the principal. And put his hand closer to mine without flinching at all. I put my hand on his and Jerome looked at us like we had Ebola. He whispered to Ross in a not so silent matter " are they? " I quietly stood up and went to the bathroom. The principal immanently said " SIT DOWN TYLER " Adam looked at me and said I NEED to see you after lunch. I just said okay and ate my food for the rest of lunch my friends Ross, Jerome , Mitch , and Tyler(munchingbrotato) were filled with whispers. As I walked of from lunch I went outside were Adam and a million other kids were on break. He hand waved me over... He asked me in a shaky voice " are you umm.." I asked what and he gave me no reply. We sat there a moment swinging his feet back and forth on the bench like a 2 year old. Then he finished his sentence " Do you like me as a friend or as a kind of like like? " using four year old terms was out of my dictionary a long time ago... I didn't know what to say for once recording videos was one thing on youtube but to say words. I once convinced myself I was going to get married over the internet. I said" yeah do you feel the same way" he just looked at me I pulled him back inside the building I knew how he felt. He looked at me with confusion and said " umm your house tonight? " It was a done deal cause I started getting looks from people who were Anti-Gay. He came around 6 or 7 pm brought popcorn with him and everything he said he'd probably pass out from exhaustion and fall asleep he brought movies and blankets too like a girls sleepover party. I sat down an turned on the TV and asked " Adam do you? " he turned and nodded yes. I didn't know how this was going to end but I was uneasy and fine at the same time like it was normal or a date or something. I couldn't stop looking at him he still had dark shades on red sneakers and the purple necklace. He had his hair pulled back in a short ponytail and two little strands of hair to the sides of his face. His eyes were glued to the TV but he looked over to grab some popcorn and shove it in his mouth but instead he got a glare from me of all things I did I slowly turned my head back and he said " are you ok?" I just replied a simple yes and he got that I was completely nervous and
Didn't know what to do. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer. I couldn't say anything but he actually made me feel better. He clutched my hand when the horror movie came on. I don't know how this got from a new kid to a umm how do you say it bromance or relationship. Either could be next and I wasn't prepared for neither. I calmed down a bit until he held me even closer like a teddy bear. I wasn't scared but I was a nervous wreck. He glanced over at me and put on some black and white family guy related show. I got tired and just fell asleep on his shoulder it was friday and everyone in my dorm was on vacation anyway. When I woke up it was official he kissed me on the forehead and said good morning I was curled up next to him under a blanket the cartoons were on from the morning night live show. I heard a knock on the door I put my headset around my neck and answered it. It was Jerome he said he was worried about me and wanted to come in. Sure I let him in but when he saw Adam he had the most shocked face ever he pulled me into the back room...he yelled "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON" . I explained the entire thing including the notes the glares and even spending the night and him kissing me on the forehead. Jerome ran to Mitch's dorm room and let him in showed him Adam and everything it became gossip. I thought I would be on glee. I kicked them out and told them not to tell. I sat down next to Adam and he said "what next" I told him lets get something to eat we combed are hair and got dressed and went to Arby's. We went through the drive-through when we got up there they asked us questions like- are you brothers? Cousins, friends , relatives and none of them guessed boyfriend?. They were really surprised. We ate and went to stop by Jerome and Mitch they were still shocked texting all there friends and telling them what happened. I asked them to stop spreading the word and they kept and Adam said "let me handle this" He walked in closed the door and I only heard mumbling but I'm pretty sure he cursed them out. He walked out and they were stunned. We walked back to my dorm. I entirely forgot my dorm roommate bailey would be back this sunday without knowing I let Adam spend the night again and woke up next to him again but this time he was sleeping. I thought I was in a movie but bailey walked in on me laying next to Adam ruffling his hair and he knew exactly what was going on cause he walked up to me and slapped me. Adam woke up and said "woah woah wait a minute I thought you said he was on vacation" Bailey looked at me like a retard Adam made it worse by asking him whats wrong. Bailey screamed and attacked him like a seven year old on steroids and Adam took his shirt off and wrestled him for three seconds and took him down. I helped him up and explained during Adam made breakfast and Bailey screamed at me. Then he pulled up google and put in skylox I didn't know he had a youtube channel at all bailey let me look through my reaction made my heart drop dead. I was ready to give everything up. Then his name got in my head again and Adam was all I could think about. Bailey stared at me then Mitch and Jerome came in. And kicked bailey out they asked us millions of questions before Adam followed me in the back room and we went out through the fire escape. We went to star bucks cliche I know but fun.
