The whole room was dark except for the lights hitting the walls that sparkled with flecks of gold. No human eyes could see her up there on the ceiling. But they were like no other.

She rose to her feet and managed to stand on the ceiling. One step at a time she crossed the ceiling.

"Este." She jerked and dropped down to her knees. "The group is gathering."

Jack leaned against the walls. Arms crossed as he watched her. Feeling the energy she pushed off the ceiling rolling through the air to the ground. Readjust to the solid ground she got up and head over. He uncrossed his arms they went to the lounge room, at least that's what they called it.

Mark looked up at them from the couch. Everyone else was spread through the room. Waiting?

"What was she doing this time?" Damian asked.

"Hang from the ceiling. Drop when I came in." Jack plopped on to the couch. Este pulled a stool from the wall and sat behind him.

Damian whistled and others just lead back impressed. "Wow. Can we do that?" Tiana looked over at Damian. Whom they all just appointed as a leader when they woke up.

"Who knows? We're all different. Let's get started. What do we know?"

"No much. Got a few more camera's working. Southwest side. Just more trees with buildings in the background." Drake said.

"What we all know. So when are we going out." Jack lead back his hands behind his head.

"Any humans?"

Drake and Tiana shook their heads. Every since they awoke they have been looking for people. For life. To know that they are not the only ones. The last ones. Yes, there are buildings but that didn't mean people lived. Their hope was fading.

"What do you all what?" Damian their leader asked. Everyone looked at each other.

She just ignored them and looked at the ceiling. What else could she do? What other things where possible? Teleportation? Maybe. She just wanted to keep learning. She didn't give a daime what happened outside.

Unlike the rest of the group, she came from a normal family. Well as normal as possible. Everyone here had some family member that was in the military and were prepared for what was happening. No her. She flinched at the memory and blocked before looking at them all.

No one wanted to leave just yet. All agree that they need to say inside still. And it was not time. Thanks to the program their instincts sense where much better so they could react in time. Which was what the future need, the adults told them.

A group of young adults capable of things unimaginable. Powers as scientists called but were rename gifts when they discover what kind of powers they were.

"Meeting over," Domain said.

Este got up and left everyone. She didn't mind the meetings but she never stood around for too long with anyone of them. She like her solitude when every possible to train. Because when training with others she always felt short.

Yeah, she found she could walk on the ceiling but that was not as amazing at telekinesis which Jack could do. He managed to lift a hundred pounds of weights. Her progress was slower then everyone's else. It took her a while to block Lisa's attacks.

She looked at a wall and put one foot on and let the sensations against it then put the other foot. She climbed up the wall about three-fourths before sitting down. She curled around her legs. She dropped her head to her knees and closed the world around her away.

There were seven of them. And all thou everyone could do the same stuff other's where better in certain areas. Damian was great at telekinesis. Lisa could attack anything with any weapon. The weapon they nicknamed her. Mark was the wize here capable of strategizing. Able to change quickly between fighting with weapons to hand-to-hand combat. He was fast.

The Dual, Tiana, and Drake were different. The gifts where quite the opposite which made them perfect to go together. Tiana was great with a close fight and good shields, while Drake could see anything far away and hit it. At least that what it appeared from what they could gather in the small training room.

They weren't a dual one would want to face. There pros and cons balance each other out. Which was interesting to find out as they trained.

Bang. Este opened her eyes and laid back against the wall and looking around what caused that. Everyone ran from the room and looked towards the door. Bang.
