Chapter 2 - Look

"That was delicious! Thank you Kurogiri, forget me not! And thanks Toga for the dessert!"
I looked over my shoulder to see the male with bright red wings gleam with a wide, toothy grin across his face.
"Toga, you can hop into the shower first, I'll clean up down here."
I grumbled, not fully trusting the Bird-like man that was sitting on the far left barstool. I noticed that Dabi was sitting on his right and Shigaraki sitting between him and Toga, Kurogiri occupying the last seat, then my eyes scanned over Twice, who was tapping his fingers against the wall of the staircase he had been leaning against. Though one person was missing. That was Compress, who had left a while ago to do something.

"Well, looks like they're calling, I better head out. I'll see you all tomorrow at five."
With that, he finally stood up and left.

There were a few minutes of silence before I spoke up.
"We gotta talk about him."

"What is it, Izuku?"
Shigaraki groaned, looking rather interested for the tone he used.
"I have a bad feeling about him, that's why we have been hiding my name, grabbing this hoodie, and wearing the mask while he's around, I know he's working with the heroes and is in contact with UA to see if we are going to attack and if we 'kidnapped' me. Just be vigilant, don't warm up to him. Toga, you have the room keys hidden, you might wanna keep them where you can grab them. Dabi, don't let him see the Todoroki family stuff. We don't want heroes raiding the place because 'Endeavor's missing son has finally been found to be with the league of villains.' Shigaraki, the gloves would be good to have nearby in case we need you for quick help. Twice, don't let him get to your head. Compress will need to keep his compress marbles near. Does that sound clear? I don't want us to have to relocate yet again with nothing."
Toga nodded eagerly.
"I agree fully, I don't trust him one bit! I've just been faking it to give false hope."
She murmured sweetly, I could practically feel her smirk.

"I see where you're coming from, Izuku, thanks for sharing your perspective. I will take it up."
Shigaraki nodded along to his sentence, getting up and stretching a bit, his messy blue-ish gray hair swaying with his movements.

"Imma head to clean up now, I'll see you all in a bit."
Toga had a small smile before skipping up the stairs with a hum.
I peeled off my mask and the hoodie, resting it on the coat hanger before sliding my gloves off as well.

"I'll be back after a while, do you need anything?"
I asked, getting ready to head upstairs to change my clothes.
"Eh, you able to grab another sketchbook? Thanks."

"Of course, see ya in an hour. Let me get some disguise."

The street was oddly quiet, the only sounds being heard were the occasional car and the tapping of my shoes as I walked towards the floral shop.
I watched my shadow as I walked some blocks, humming to a song that I had in my head.
I moved my left hand towards my face and started to fidget with my fingernails, rubbing my thumb over my black, painted nails.
Toga painted them for me yesterday.

We were on one of our late night talks again, this time she asked what made me become a villain.
It was a pretty long conversation.
"Well, you know the boy. After almost ten plus years of insults, it finally gets to your head, y'know? You'll never be anything! You will never be a hero! Those were two normal ones to hear. Just stop trying! Just end it, 'Deku'! Those were some other ones. The one that got me the most was. 'You'll never make it into UA, a weak quirk like yours can't make it! You'd be better off quirkless like you were mere months ago' he then saw a letter I was writing and grabbed it out of my hands, only to burn it with his quirk. That letter was for my dad, who hasn't been around 'due to work' Mom encouraged me to write to him. It was just a shit show.'
That would be the shortest answer I could've given, but I know Toga loves details. She would've just dug deeper and deeper if I gave that shorter answer.

I let out an audible sigh, holding the bouquet of flowers close to my chest.
I watched the bob of my trench coat in the shadows.
'Disguise was a pretty easy thing to pull off, huh?'
There was a thought.
I had only slipped on a button-up shirt, a waistcoat, my gloves, mask, the trench-coat, some random black jeans, round glasses, and black ankle books. Meanwhile my hair being held back in a short, low ponytail Toga insisted she do before I leave.
Suddenly, a breeze pushed its way past me, I only then realized how cold it was for a spring night.

BING

I tilted my head before reaching into my pocket, finding the device that made the noise.

Himiko Toga:
Meet us in the alley two blocks from the place. I have your bat behind the dumpster. We have... Visitors. And I think you'll want to help us catch this one. ~H. T. <3

This sounds like a fun case.
I smirked before tossing my phone back into my pocket and sprinting towards the location.
We knew the location by heart, seeing as so many heroes, or just nosy people, would be looking for our hideout while one of us were out wandering around.
Hopefully it isn't Kacchan this time.
That was the last visitor, though, in pure luck, he didn't notice us and stormed away, angrily muttering about something with a face that could only be painted as distraught, but knowing him, he hid it with anger.

"Toga, just shut your mouth already and get behind me."

I was close.
When I reached my destination, I dropped my bag and the flowers behind the dumpster and replaced it with my bat.

"Took you long enough, Forget Me Not!"

I knew it was time to strike.
