Rose's POV
After my mom finally hustled my ass out of the house and in the car, we finally pull away from the house and drive to pickup my grandparents.
"Soooo... What do you think about me telling Grandpa and Grandma about the whoooole... Ya know? Being extremely gay thing??" I look at my mom with hopeful eyes. Me and my mom are extremely close, I have 2 other siblings but they're both from a previous marriage my mom had when she was very young and are older than me. My big brother Rob is 28 and a complete over achiever he's currently on track to be some sort of something in the white house. My big sister Lilly is 23 and is more of the nerd of the family she's going to college to be a doctor of some science I don't give a damn about. Me being 18, the youngest and the least "academically driven" left me to become very attached to my mom. After all she is the best woman alive.
My mom looks back me with a hesitant look then back at the road. "Mama... you know I love you to no end and so do your grandparents... But honestly I don't think it's a good idea."
I frown at her answer "At least until you have a serious relationship.". To this I perk up a bit but overall I'm still slightly disappointed I really reeaallyy hate keeping myself a secret to my grandparents. Especially my sweet, beautiful grandma. It breaks my heart every time she looks at me and asks how I'm doing in the "guy department" and my answer is "Still looking for the right one Gran" .
I'm so stuck in my thoughts I barely realize we pulled up to Grandparent's house. Out comes my Grandpa looking pissed as ever... My mom and I exchange an "oh shit" look and quickly exit the car to great my pissed off Grandpa and Cheerful looking Grandma.
"Hi Pops!", I say happily while hugging him trying to lighten his mood. He hugs me back and kisses my cheeks. Thankfully looks at me and smiles.
"How's my beautiful Grandchild?." I look at him and smile.
"I'm." I get cut off by my Gran tackling from the side then hugging while kissing me all over my face.
"OH ROSE, YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL!". She says as she finally pulls away and looks at my outfit.
"Thanks Gran" I smile down at the small older woman.
"Alright, Alright if we're all done with complimenting my kid lets get this show on the road!". My mom chimes in as she gets in the drivers seat.
We all pile in the car and head to my school... "This is it."
A/N: Alright so chapter 2! I know this is taking a bit to pick up but I want make sure my story is well rounded and all of my characters are introduced and slightly understood before diving into the romantic stuff.
