"I haven't even had my license for an hour and you already want me to go to the store for you" I said eyeing my mama while she stood at my door
"Girl if you don't getcha ass up imma make sure this da last day you Gon ever have ya license" she said take off her shoe and throwing it at me
Once she walked out with one shoe and I heard her head back to her room I put my covers back over my face and tried to fall back asleep
"Nene your best bet is to not be in that bed when I pass by that room again!" I groaned
I immediately got up and started putting on my gray sweats that I had took off a few minutes earlier when I heard her coming down the hallway with a belt
She eyed me before handing me a $50 and walking away
I continued to pull up my joggers before putting on my black and white Vans and grabbing my phone

"What do you even want me to get from there?" I asked as I walked downstairs
"Hopefully some friends" she mumbled
"Foreal ma whachu want" I mugged her
"Imma text it to you guh and I want everything on that goddamn list nothing more nothing less you got that girl? "
"Yeah yeah" I said opening the door and locking it back
I unlocked the doors to my 2018 Benz and got it and pulled out of the circular drive way
Once I pulled up to the nearest Walmart I park into the nearest parking spot to the entrance doors which just had to be handicap parking
I got out and locked the doors
I grabbed the baskets next to the door and walked straight towards the isle that they keep the beans so I can get all of the items for that woman's red beans and rice
Once I grabbed 2 beans of pinto beans and made it to the isle with all the rice I grabbed the biggest and cheapest bag I could find
Once I put it in my basket and made my way towards the isle where they keep the cornbread mix a lil boy around the age of 4 started sprinting towards me
I started looking behind me to see who he was running to but nobody was behind me so I just stood there and stared at him
"You pwetty w-whats yo name" he said getting on at the end of my basket and holding on
"Uhm Adeline , wea yo parents at"I asked waiting for him to get off the basket so nobody would think I'm tryna kidnap they child
"Over dere sumwhere" he said pointing to the isle I was about to turn on to get the cornbread mix
"Your n-name pwetty" he said smiling at me
"Thank you , what's your name" I said smiling back
"Draco" he beamed brightly I looked at him weirdly
"Draco?" I questioned
"Yeah you like it?" He asked while nodding
"Yeah it's a very nice name" I said seeing a big eared nigga running towards me
"Girl you tryna kidnap my nephew or sum shit" he said snatching Draco up
I just mugged him and started piling my basket up with 10 boxes of cornbread mix
"You a mute or sum girl I'm talking you" he said mugging me back
"N-no she told me her name was Adeline so that means she not a mute" Draco said getting right back onto the basket
I sucked my teeth at him since he was out here telling people my personal information
"Wait until yb get here" he said eyeing Draco
"And who is that" I said rolling my eyes
"That's my dada" Draco said playing with the stuff in my basket
"You live under a rock or sum how the fuck you don't know who yb is?" I shrugged not even bothering to answer his question
"Kd why yo big eared ass ain't tell me you found my son" a fine bowlegged nigga said in a strong accent as he approached us
"Well when I told you bowlegged ass that I thought I saw him go left u just ain't listen to me and you went right"he said shrugging and turning his attention back to me
"Who you?" He asked licking his lips and looking me up and down
"Dada that my girlfriend" Draco said holding my hand
"Oh dis all you Draco?" He asked as I just laughed
"Yeah dada she real pwetty huh?" He said smiling up at me
"Mhm.whats yo gf name"
"Ha name Adeline dada I want ha number" he said taking a phone from kd
"Me too" yb said taking his phone outta his pocket
I put my number in the phone that Draco handed me and put myself under "Nene❤️"
"What about me?" He asked putting his phone closer to my face
I shook my head no before waving bye to Draco and headed towards the chips/soda aisle
I grabbed hotfries , dynamites , and a bag of lays for my mama before I heard Draco coming towards my direction
I turned towards the direction of his voice and he was walking right up to me with his "dada" and kd right behind him
"Can I pwease go home w-with you cuz my daddy said he not buying me no Icecream" I laughed as he started grabbing the tub of icecream that I grabbed not to long ago
"I wish you could but you have to go home to meet your mama" I said quietly
"T-tomorrow?" I nodded
"Call me tomorrow and I'll make sure you get icecream" he smiled before hugging me tightly
"Bye Nene" he said giggling
"Bye Draco" yb eyed me before asking Draco what we were talking about as they started walking in a opposite direction
Once I checked everything out I bumped into kd and he threw his arm over my shoulder
"We bestfriends now just so you know"he said giving me his phone
I laughed as I entered my number and he put me in his phone as "Walmart hoe💙"
"Bye bestfriend" I just waved
Back at home ________________________________________
"Bout damn time" my mama said grabbing the bags out my hand
"You welcome"I said mugging her
"Girl go welcome the rest of those dishes so I can start my slow cooker" she said pushing me towards the kitchen.
