Denki Kaminari

Tw- Kaminari talks about his abuse

I woke up feeling really good and amazing and then I remembered what had happened and felt ten times worse.

"Ugh, Jesus Christ," I mumbled and opened my eyes slowly. I soon realized I was in a hospital room and had someone sleeping on my bed.

"Katsuki? Baby, wake up." His eyes shot open and he looked exhausted. He had bags under his eyes and his hair looked a lot messier and his eyes were practically bloodshot. When he looked at me he started crying and apologizing.

"Kat, it's okay I'm fine! It's not your fault baby." I cooed and peppered his face in kisses.

"But you g-got stabbed because i c-"

"I was the one who got up okay? Nothing that night was your fault and you shouldn't think that it is, got it?" He nodded and I kissed him on the lips before there was an awkward cough at the door. 

We broke apart and I see the bakusquad at the door. they all kind of looked tired(Shinso looked more tired than usual) and Mina was crying.

"Denki! Thank god you're awake!" She sobbed and ran over to me and literally pushed Kat off the bed so she could give me a hug. I hugged her back. while I laughed at how pissy Katsuki looked.

"Never do that again mister!" I chuckled and nodded.

"Move it, bitch," Katsuki said as he picked Mina up and put her in Kiri's arm and sat by me again.

We talked for a while about how school was going for them and that the class was worried about me. It was kind of weird cause when doctors or nurses walked passed literally ran away from the door.

"What's going on with the doctors and nurses?" They all looked at each other.

"Should we tell him, I'm gonna tell him."

"Sero don't you fucking dare."

"Bakubro come on he'll think it was cute." Katsuki rolled his eyes and mumbled a 'fine'.

"Ok so when you were recovering, Bakubro basically stayed the whole time, even after visiting hours because he screamed at the nurses and doctors that tried to get him to leave, The only time he left was to shower and use the bathroom," Sero explained and I felt bad that I put him through so much but it was kinda cute and sad how he would act like that when he wasn't awake. Katsuki seemed really angry but I could tell he felt guilty so I kissed his cheek. 

We talked for a long while before I asked them when I would be able to get out of here. They looked kinda worried and that made me worry. Kiri was the one who broke it to me.

"uh, they said that you could leave after you talked to the police and a plan with Mr. Aizawa." I understood the police part but a plan?

"What plan?"

"Your parents are really known amongst the media and a lot of people found out it was you and the media keep camping UA," Kiri mumbled the last part and I felt dread call it's way up inside me.

"S-so everyone knows about it, you guys k-know?" They somberly nodded their heads and I bit my lip anxiously.

"I-i'm s-sorry I didn't tell you guys a-about it." I looked down into my lap and pulled at my fingers.

"Denki, it's completely fine we all understand why you didn't we just feel bad we didn't find out sooner." Katsuki held my hand and squeezed it, making me stop pulling my fingers.

Eventually, the group had to leave and I was anxiously waiting for the people to come and question me with Katsuki, his mom brought him some new clothes so he could change into them during the day.

Now we were cuddling and watching the first few episodes of Bob's Burgers while we waited.

"Do you think Lousia will keep her hat when she grows up?" I asked Kat with the half of my face shoved into his chest, kind of muffled.

"I don't know, ma-" His sentenced was cut off by a knock on the door frame of my room and I see two people with badges hanging from their necks.

I sat up carefully so I didn't hurt my side, they apparently had to take one of my kidneys out and it hurt a lot when I moved the wrong way, Recovery girl did come in and heal me up faster which is why it took longer for me to wake up but it still felt kinda weird and its still hurt sometimes.

"Hello Kaminari, I'm detective Sato, and This is my partner Ito." Detective Sato looked gruff and tired while her partner looked the exact opposite, he was more energetic and peppy.

"H-hi." I tried to smile but it kind of faltered.

"We're here to ask you a few questions about your parents." I nodded and they walked into the room, sitting in the visiting chairs.

"So you're parents were arrested for child abuse and neglection, along with many more things that we would like to ask you about." I nodded and tensed up. Detective Ito took out a small notebook and pen to write down my answers.

"So to start off, how long has it been happening?" Detective Sato questioned.

"Maybe since I was 6? i-it's been a really long time."

"Have your parents hurt any of your other siblings." I almost laughed at the question. They practically joined in on the abuse and that's what I told the two detectives.

"Okay, could you describe how they would punish you?"

"U-uhm well, sometimes they would l-lock me in the garage for a few days after they b-beat me. T-they've broken my bones f-four times and uhm they sent me to a conversion c-camp before school started.." I could feel tears in my eyes and I held on to Kat's arm to feel some sort of comfort.

"You're doing great Kaminari, we just need a few more questions and then we can leave you alone." Detective Ito tried to reassure me.

"Did they ever use any weapons?" I shuddered and nodded.

"My-my dad used b-brass knuckles and s-sometimes a b-belt." Detective Sato nodded.

"Have you told anyone about the abuse?"

"O-only Katsuki and K-kiri."  

"And they are?"

"Kat's m-my soulmate and Kirishima's m-my best friend." 

"Okay, and the last question is do you have any evidence, like pictures or stained clothes?" I paused for a moment and nodded.

"Y-yeah when I was about e-eleven I started taking p-pictures of t-the injuries and went to the l-library to print them out and h-hid them in the g-garage and deleted the ones in my p-phone so when m-my parents looked through it t-they didn't see t-them." the detectives looked surprised.

"I can d-drop them off at the p-police s-station w-when I can?" I suggested nervously. Detective Ito smiled at me and said that would work. 

"Thank you for talking to us Kaminari." Detective Sato nodded her head at me and the detectives left. My tears spilled over in relief and Kat hoisted me up so I was sitting on his lap.

"It's okay, we'll be back at the dorms soon and we'll cuddle and do anything you want all day." I sniffled and nodded with a smile.

"I would like that."
