SLIGHT trigger warning (Only one word but I don't want anyone to get blindsided)

Denki Kaminari

The past week was really hectic. I managed to have everything go back to normal with my class and Aizawa told me that I was technically going to be looked after school until I myself chose a guardian since Nezu didn't want me to end up in the foster care system.

My face and family have been all over the news too and I couldn't go out into town without getting petty looks or glares. In school I've been attacked twice, my desk vandalized a few times, tripped in the halls, and had some food thrown at me a few times, and most of those times Katsuki nearly killed whoever 'harmed' me. It was kind of funny but also kind of scary when Mina, Sero, and Shinsou encouraged my overprotective boyfriend to beat the shit out of people.

But finally today I get to start my job at the bookstore. I didn't start it as soon as I wanted because Ms. Yasui wanted me to rest before I started my job.

"Bye Kat, I'll be back at 8!" I straightened out my Pikachu jacket in front of  Katsuki's mirror before Kat groaned.

"I still don't think it's a good idea for you to go to work yet."

"Awh, you're just worried, I'll be fine!" I turned and kissed Katsuki on the lips before I left his room.

Today was really sunny but it was also windy so it was the perfect temperature. It felt like I could dance on the clouds. I made it to the Bookshop rather quickly and opened the door with a smile.

"Ms. Yasui I'm here!" I grinned when I heard her shout in excitement. Once she saw me she tackled me into a hug and I almost fell back but caught my footing.

"Thank god you're okay Kaminari!" She said as she released me from her grip.

"Well I've been okay for a week but someone didn't let me come into work!" I glared playfully and Ms. Yasui just rolled her eyes with a playful grin.

"Okay well you can go behind the register while I but books away, okay?" I nodded and got behind that counter and sat on the stool that she had behind here. She reminds me that it's usually really slow but I didn't mind I just got to talk to her more.

"So how has UA been Kami?" Ms. Yusai shouted from behind a bookshelf.

"Okay for the most part, My classmates are amazing per usual but I've gotten bullied by some people, it's okay though, since Kat, Sero, Mina, and Shinso practically became a protect Denki squad." Ms. Yusai snorted.

"Sounds like a great squad!"

It was around 7:30 when a guy with grey and green eyes walked through the door. He was wearing a suit and a giant ass gold watch so I guessed he was someone semi-important. I just went back to reading a book that I picked from the shelf. It was a decent book.

After a few minutes the guy managed to get the book he seemed to want without help and approached me.

"Hello sir did you find everything alright?" I smiled genuinely and the man eyed me for a moment before realization crossed his face. I ran the book under the scanner and told the man the price.

"Aren't you that useless faggot kid on the news?" I winced at his words as the dude glared at me for an answer. I was about to tell him to leave me alone before a book hit him right in the cheek.

"We have a strict no discrimination policy so if you come in here again I will do a lot more than throwing a book at you okay you twatwaffle?" Ms. Yasui glared viciously with her hazel eyes as the man quickly paid and left with his book. 

I was stunned. I never knew she could be so violent. She huffed.

"That man left a bad taste in my mouth, I am so sorry you had to endure that Kaminari. I swear people these days are awful!" Ms. Yasui pouted and I chuckled.

"Thanks but you can call me Denki you know." I checked my phone and started to gather my things.

"Okay then if I call you Denki than you can call me Hanako." Hanako grinned as I moved away from the counter.

"Alright then Hanako, I'll see you on Friday!" She waved goodbye as I left and I quickly walked back to UA. I pulled my hoodie over my head so no one could recognize me easily and I texted the Bakusquad while I walked.

"I'm back if anyone cares!" I shouted as I swung open the door and quickly dodged a vase. My eyes widened as it broke behind me and I looked over at Mina who looked really upset as Kirishima tried to calm her down.

"Uhm, did I miss something while I was at work?" Mina looked up and just sighed.

"No, I just read an article about you and your stupid family and it was so fucking stupid and just- ugh!" Mina rubbed her face with her hands and I nodded.

"O-oh, okay! Well just don't show Katsuki, I don't want him to blow up the dorms." I chuckled and Mina just nodded. Before her usual bright smile graced her face.

"Anyways how was your first day?" Mina questioned as she sat down on the couch.

"It was really good!" I told her everything that happened that day and she and Kiri got really pissed about the guy but were laughing when I told them about how Hanako threw a book at his face and called him a 'twatwaffle'. 

"HEY EXTRA'S DINNERS READY COME GET IT BEFORE IT GET'S COLD!" Katsuki shouted in the kitchen and I chuckled before following Kiri and Mina to the kitchen.

Sorry this took so long I've been overflowing with ideas for ANOTHER book that I really want to post but I'm hesitant cause I have two other books but we'll see my friends
