It was September 12th 1994.

A married couple was in the hospital in the evening at 5pm. The man's wife was pregnant and she was about to give birth to their first child.

Mr. Joon was desperate and worried as he brought his wife to the hospital as she started to get labor pain.

"Ahhhh honey....honey...I'm in so much pain!!", said Mrs. Joon who was in tears as she was put on the hospital bed and was been taken to the pregnancy ward.

Mr. Joon was running along with her, giving her hope and strength as much as he could.

"Sweetheart, it's gonna be okay...stay strong!!", said Mr. Joon.

Then they all were inside the pregnancy ward, including him. Mrs. Joon was screaming in pain and he was heart broken to see her like this.

"I can realize how much my mom went through to give birth to me...", he thought to himself.

"Sir...please hold your wife's hand as we start the procedure...", said the doctor.

So Mr. Joon held his wife's hand as he stood next to her. She was still screaming. The doctor had checked her and said she was going to give natural birth. Hearing this, Mr. Joon was feeling happy.

"Alright Mrs. Joon...it's time to push the baby out...", said the doctor as the nurses were with her.

"I don't know if I can!!", she shouted in pain.

"Sweetheart you can do it...just a good push and it'll all be over soon, I promise...", Mr. Joon said to his wife softly.

"Please Mrs. Joon, start pushing!!", said the nurses.

Everyone were in position and Mrs. Joon started pushing like the doctor said.

"AHHHHHHH!!! AHHHHH!!!", she shouted as she pushed.

"That's it sweetheart, you're doing great!!", Mr. Joon stuttered as he was in tears.

He was witnessing the birth of their first child and the beautiful feeling was making him cry already.

"Push, ma'am...PUSH!!", the nurses kept saying.

"AHHHHHH!!!", Mrs. Joon shouted again.

The procedure went on for a while and one and a half hours later, their child was finally born.

"Waaah...wahhh!!!", the baby cried as soon as it was born from Mrs. Joon.

It was such a beautiful sight, everyone in the ward were in tears. Mr. Joon was overjoyed.

"Congratulations, you're parents now and it's a boy!!", said the doctor.

"OMG this is amazing, doctor!! I'm a father now...so wonderful!! Sweetheart, you did it...YOU DD IT!!", Mr. Joon squealed in happiness.

"Yes...me too...", Mrs. Joon said softly as she was super tired.

"We will do a check up on the baby and give him to you right away. Also, Mrs. Joon needs utmost rest. She will checked up too and by tomorrow, she and the baby can go home...", said the doctor.

"Of course, doctor!! Thank you very much!!", he said and was in tears of happiness.

"You're welcome, sir...", the doctor said and they left with the baby.

Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Joon were chatting with each other.

"How are you feeling now, sweetheart?", he asked her.

"I'm okay but I feel very weak...", she replied.

"Don't worry...you'll be better by tomorrow and be back on your feet!!", he said and kissed her forehead.

"I'm glad, honey...hehe...", she said as she giggled and blushed.

An hour later, the doctor was back with their baby boy. He was all clean and had a diaper on too. Then the doctor carefully and delicately handed the baby over to Mrs. Joon and both of them felt so happy as soon as they saw their baby boy.

"Wow he looks so wonderful...look at him, so cute!!", said Mrs. Joon with a smile on her face.

"Yes, he looks very adorable...and look...he kinda looks like he had dimples!!", said Mr. Joon and chuckled.

"He really has a cute dimple smile...", said the doctor and smiled.

"Yeah...", said the both of them.

"The baby is healthy with a healthy weight. Here's the health report of your baby...", the doctor said and gave it to Mr. Joon.

The doctor then explained about the health report to the couple to give them a better understanding about their baby's health and more.

"Okay, thank you very much, doctor!!", they both said.

"Your welcome. If you need anything, I'll be in the next ward, alright?", asked the doctor.

"Okay!!", they both said and the doctor smiled and left the ward.

"Sweetheart, we should name our son RIGHT NOW!!", Mr. Joon said with excitement.

"Now, honey?", she asked him.

"Yes!! In this beautiful and happy moment of ours, this is the right time to name him!!", he suggested.

"Alright, honey!! I have a name in mind...", she said.

"What is it?", he asked.

"Kim Namjoon!!", she said happily.

"Oh wow!!", he said with wide happy eyes.

"Yes...and his name means: The genius from the south...I really like this name. What do you think, honey?", she asked him.

"It's perfect, sweetheart...Kim Namjoon it is, then!!", Mr. Joon said happily.

"Hey Kim Namjoon!!", they said to their baby as they waved hi with their hands.

The baby started laughing too, gigging very cutely...it melted their hearts.

"OMG he loves his name, honey!!", Mrs. Joon said, smiling at the baby.

"Yeah, you're right!! Like his name, I have a great feeling he's gonna be a great genius at something when he grows up!!", Mr. Joon said so proudly.

And hence the boy Kim Namjoon was born on the face of the Earth. A big life awaits ahead of him.
