Wednesday: April 17th

I'm in the car. Sitting in the back seat with my music blasting in my ears. When I look to the front of the car, I see Lisa's mouth moving. She's saying something obviously. I pluck my earphones out my ears with a slight POP.

"So! Raina, what do you like to do for fun?" Oh great, those kind of people.

"I don't know. Listen to music, talk, paint, draw, read. There's alot of things I like to do." I said with little intrest in this conversation.

"Well, you'll like your new home!" I perk up and look her dead in the eyes through the rear-view mirror.

"Oh really? Give me a reason why." I said harshly.

"Explain it." I add.

"It's a large country house, with land all around it! My husband and I plus our 4 sons live there.! You'll like them! Joshua is 34, Christopher is 25, Charles is 20, and James is 17 close to being 18 in the summer." I scoff at that. At least he's the same age as me. I won't have to feel so alone.

"Sounds cool."

"Yes! And you'll go to Braxton High. You'll ride the bus there every morning. That is unless you miss it. Joshua will drive you." She says quietly.

"Ok. How long left?" I ask.

"About 5 minutes." I look away into the scene in front of me. Plantations. Sprinkled with white dust. Cotton.

She wasn't lying about the house being large. It's huge! And colorful at the same time. It's not made of bricks or anything. It's not in the middle of nowhere either. About a good thirty minutes is more houses.

"We're here!" Lisa screams. I get out the car and grab my things.

"Go in the house. Everyone should be eating now." Branden says to me. I don't think he likes me very much. But I don't really care at the moment. I walk in, only to be greeted by a large EMPTY kitchen.

"So, where's my room?" I say to myself.

"Up the stairs and down the hall to the right." I nearly jump to a random voice. When I look around I see a tall man. Blond hair, green eyes, lean, and handsome.

"Uh, thanks."

"No problem. My name is Christopher. But you can call me Chris." He holds out his hand. I shake it and let go.

"I'm Raina by the way."

"Ok. See you Raina." and he dissapears.

I walk to my room. And and UGLY sight is in front of me. It's PINK. I hate the color pink! The bed sheets are frilly, and covered with pastel pink bows. The walls are covered with hearts and bows again. I nearly scream and tear everything apart. But instead I calmly set my things down, and walk to the window and open it up.
