After catching my breath I took a seat against the wall to wait for Draco. I sat waiting for ten minutes wondering where Draco was before I saw him walking towards me. He had a basket in his hands, which immediately called my attention.
"I am so sorry! Your brother did not want to let me out of his eyesight. I'm not sure who he doesn't trust, me or you." He remarked laughing.
"Oh definitely me. No question." I shrugged and Draco reached forward grabbing my hand. He began walking down the hall when I asked, "Where are you taking me anyways?"
"You will see." We were only walking for another minute before Draco stopped, dropping my hand, and began pacing in front of a wall.
"What.." I stopped when a door materialized out of nowhere on the wall in front of me. A sly smirk adorned Draco's face seeing the shock written across my own. He walked back over to me, grabbed my hand, and began to pull me with him towards the door.
"This is the room of requirement. I'm sure you have heard something about it over the years?" I simply nodded my head. I had heard that Harry Potter had used it during our fifth year, but I had never actuallu seen it. I knew it apparently took the shape of whatever the person needed. Cho had told me this when she had joined Harry's group, called Dumbledore's Army, to learn defense against the dark arts. I knew Draco hadn't been part of that, so how did he know about this room. "Our sixth year, after "He" came back I spent a lot of time here in the room fixing a vanishing cabinet to get the Death Eaters on campus. It was not one of my proudest achievements, but it happened."
He pulled me into a room that was rather spacious, had bookshelves filled with books, a couple comfy looking couches, a bed, and an area with a table and chairs. Draco led us directly to the table setting down his basket. I finally asked the question I had been wanting to since I saw him carrying it, "What's that?"
"Oh this?" He asked motioning to the basket. "I went to the kitchens and met the house elf you told me about, Pitts. Pitts was generous enough to help me get us breakfast." I smiled, sitting at the table and waiting to eat. Draco again made me a plate and placed it on the table in front of me. We duh in and spent the next few minutes in comfortable silence, before I broke it.
I wiped my mouth with a napkin and said, "This was very sweet of you Draco, thank you. If you keep making plates for me and being so gentlemanly I am going to start getting a big head."
He laughed shaking his head and continued eating. When we had both finished and I felt like I couldn't take another bite, Draco addressed the plans he made for today. "I figured we could spend the day relaxing together. Maybe read a little, talk about everything going on, and just get comfortable. That is, if that's okay with you?"
"That sounds absolutely amazing Draco." I stood and walked towards one of the bookshelves to find a book I might enjoy. Draco took this opportunity to walk over to one of the couches and picked up a book, I assume he had previously been reading, from the small table beside it. It took me 20 minutes to find a book that seemed interesting from the multiple shelves. I chose to read "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood (Honestly if you haven't actually read the book you really should. It's amazing, but if you don't enjoy reading... not sure why you are reading my terrible writing, but they adapted it into a show on HULU, which is the first season. Now there are three seasons and the show is good too. It does cover very mature content, both book and show, so keep in mind that it is not appropriate for everyone.) Draco had made himself comfortable sitting on the couch, so I walked over, taking my shoes off, and settling myself with my back against the opposite arm of the couch. A moment later, Draco reached down to grab my legs and place my feet across his lap.
