Alexandria's POV
The feeling of my body being roughly shook as someone bounced beside me on the mattress slowly woke me up. I groaned moodily and grabbed the nearest pillow to throw at the person who dared to wake me up. "Five more minutes..." I moaned irritably, pulling the covers above my head and curling into a ball.
"Wake up! We are supposed to be on a plane in two hours and you aren't even packed!" said the oh so lovely voice of my sister, Thalia, as she pulled my blanket off of me throwing it onto the floor. I huffed and rolled out of bed, flipping her off in the process. I threw on a thrasher sweatshirt that was probably three sizes too big for me with black leggings and white converse. I threw my long blonde hair into a messy bun and quickly applied basic makeup before running downstairs to grab my suit case. As I approached the bottom of the stairs, I notice Kate holding out a coffee from Dunkin' donuts. I grab the suitcase and flash a smile at her before grabbing the coffee and continuing back upstairs.
Today, Thalia and I would be traveling to Forks, Washington with our best friends: Tanya, Kate, and Irina. Thalia and I have been living with the girls for about a year now, so when they said they wanted to visit some friends and asked us to join, we couldn't say no. Apparently, these friends are supposed to be super gifted like we are. I found this hard to believe when I heard. Tanya and the girls are part of one of the most powerful vampire covens in the world, aside from the Volturi of course. Kate could electrocute someone with a single touch. Tanya and Irina have the ability to lure someone in with their sex appeal, which doesn't sound like much but once they have their eyes set on someone that's it. game over. Thalia and I had been accepted into the coven around the time we moved in, making them even more powerful. Thalia has two gifts. Not only is she a mental shield meaning she can stop any attack on the mind, but she can also inflict intense levels of pain. My gift compliments my sister's gifts. I am a physical shield that can also take away someone's senses. I can take away your ability to see and smell while my sister makes you feel pain like you've never felt before. Together we are quite the deadly duo, so I was quite surprised to hear Tanya say that her friends might be even more gifted than the five of us.
I shook my head effectively snapping myself out of my own thoughts. I zipped my suitcase and joined my sister and friends. Together, we all jumped in the car and were off the the airport.
"Can we listen to something other than One Direction, Thalia?!" Kate whined. I laughed to myself as Thalia turned around to glare at Kate.
"No, You know the rules. My car, my music. Your car, your music. Who's car are we in? Mine. Now hush," Thalia replied. Thalia likes to keep up with modern music and loves to torture Kate with it. Kate loves old classical music and has always said that modern music will be the end of us all. Kate huffed in response before crossing her arms and staring out the window. I laughed. Even in a thirty minute ride to the airport, there was going to be arguing over music.
