Stefan managed to get rid of Damon. Well by get Rid off he has locked him in the basement. Not the best plan in the world but I suppose it's better than nothing. I grabbed my school bad and slide down the banister. "Hey Dad I'm heading to school" I called out trying to rush out the door. "Hey wait." I froze hearing him behind me "dammit" he gave me a travel mug. "Dad it tastes funny" I complain. "I know hunny but it's to keep you safe okay?" I sighed knowing he was right, my dad give me a coffee filled with vervain every morning. "Okay dad I'll see you later" I kissed his cheek. "Will you be back after school" he asked "maybe. I will probably hang out at the grill for a bit." I told him "okay remember be back by 9" he said sternly. "Sure dad" I hugged him one last time before rushing out the door "love you" I yelled not waiting for him reply.

After school I headed into the grill seeing if anyone was their. "Hey Lills " I turned to see Matt walking you to me. "Hey mattie" I smiled, Matt is like a brother to me. "Have you seen Vicky" he asked. "No sorry why?" "I thought maybe she stayed at your house last night." I laughed slightly. "What's so funny?" He asked offended. "I'm sorry but I probably shouldn't be the one to tell you this but...... pretty sure she slept with Jeremy last night" his face fell and I couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry mattie" "it's fine Lills your were just blunter than I thought you were gonna be" I laughed again "bye mattie" "see ya Liz"

"Hey dad I'm home" I called as I walked through the door dumping my bag at the base of the staircase. "Dad" their was no reply which was weird. I walked into the kitchen to see if he was their. The kitchen was empty but his coffee sat full on the counter, freezing cold. "Dad?" I called once more. I walked down to the basement maybe he was down their. I glanced round to see my dad slumped against the wall. "Dad!!!!" I rushed to his side dropping down. "Dad? No dad, No" sobs raked through my body as I hugged into my dads lifeless body. "No Dad you promised, you promised" I sat cardling his body a endless stream of tears pouring from my eyes. "Zach" I heard stefan call form outside but I made no movement to greet him. "Oh no Zach...." he trailed off as his eyes lock on me. I stared at my fathers face keeping him in an iron grip. "Lily?" He wrapped his arms around me and tried to pull me away from dads body. "NO!! no get away!" I hit his hands until he stepped back. "Lily I'm so sorry" I didn't move just gripped my father tighter wishing he was here. "He promised" I whispered softly. "What?" Stefan asked gently kneeling beside me. "He promised he wouldn't leave me." I sobbed more. Stefan said nothing and simply wrapping his arms around my shoulders. I was grateful for the comfort. After several minutes of silence Stefan spoke "Lily you have to let go now." I shock my head rapidly. "no" he sighed lightly. "You have to Lily come on" he began prying my hands from my fathers body. "No please" to weak from crying I couldn't fight against him. "It okay" he coped into my ear as he lifted me into his arms softly. No tears escaped my eyes. There were no tears left. I was silent as Stefan carried me upstairs to my room. Gently he set me under the covers tucking me in. He stroked my hair comfortly. "I'm got to stop Damon before he hurts anyone else." I looked into his eyes, they were filled with rage and guilt. "I'll be back as soon as I can. But I have to stop him" I looked down fear filling me at the thought of being alone. "You just sleep okay and when you wake up I'll be hear." He stroked my hair once more before leaving. I turned of my side closing my eyes to sleep, my mind filled with the images of my dads body lying there. No matter how hard I tried I could sleep. I just lay there eyes wide open staring at the door in fear the monster would come for me next.
