Part 9: Hi! Now go!

"Umf!" Elizabeth thanked Neil for helping her up," Um.. Thx..." And hurriedly towards an opposite direction. "Wait! You're Elizabeth right? That ZW's girlfriend?" Neil asked loudly, at least loud enough for Elizabeth to hear. Once again, warm tears streaked Elizabeth's blushing cheeks. As she braced herself for the insult and abuse, she felt a hand on her shoulder comforting her. "Argg! Ahhh!!don't pity me guys!" As she shook her shoulder free from the grip. Elizabeth sniffed and looked up, apologising to the girls," I'm sorry guys, but I just feel like....." She stopped upon realising that the one who comforted her was Neil! Before Elizabeth could do anything else, Neil hauled her up, and said," I know what he did and I know it hurts, let me help you overcome this. And I really think you are not a bad person." Startled by what happened, Elizabeth looked right into Neil's eyes and said naturally," You have really nice eyes, I mean it's hazel and peaceful...." Neil gently smiled and said," I never thought anyone would notice them, thanks, wanna grab lunch sometime? By the way here's my number! See you in Chinese class!"
Elizabeth realised, break time already ended as they were talking! She grabbed her bag and charged up to classroom 8. Just as Elizabeth opened the door, Charmaine motioned for her to sit next to her. Elizabeth sat down and apologised for the mess she created that afternoon but Charmaine just laughed and said," Well that's what friends are for buddy!" Just then, a creepy boy with jagged hair, with a little too much hair gel applied, appeared beside Charmaine. "Hey! Charmaine! You look extra cute today!" Charmaine's face immediately turned red like a tomato! "Oooh! Charmaine! You never told me you had a boyfriend!"
