My white hair was down and a burgandy beanie to top off my lazyness.
I walked out the door, checked my combat boots for my pocket knives and clicked the "unlock" button to the dark grey mustang, parked in front of the garage door. I opened the door and slipped in, throwing my back pack in the passangers seat and then starting the car. The engine roared. I put on my shades as the morning sun shined through my window. Mmm..best feeling in the world.
"What is?" Dike questioned as opened my eyes wide to find him in my passanger seat.
"Hm? What?" I looked down and blinked hard. Did he just read my mind? I faced forward and back at him in a matter of seconds, "so tell me...where do you think you're going?"
He looked at me and chuckled, "school. Where do u think you're going with those weapondry of yours?"
"Self-defense. Jash always reminded me before I walked out the door. Its kind of a habbit to double check before I leave." I looked forward and tried to avoid the conversation. I miss you daddy.
Dike nodded in agreement and I backed out while looking back and grabbing the passenger seat.

The car reached the entrance of the parking lot. The morning was krisp and fresh from the looks of it. Like it was raining for the past few days. I drove and parked next to Breanne's white BMW. It's been too long. It became hard to swallow once memories flooded back to Friday.
"Kinda weird coming to school on a Tuesday isn't it?" Dike chuckled and looked around the parking lot.
I gripped the steering wheel tight and released with ease, "yeah."
The car died down as I pulled the keys out. I thanked him for holding my backpack and slung it behind me as I got out of the car. He got out and looked around and then closed the door. His hair being ever so slightly leaning to the right after a wiff of turning his head. His pale skin made his eyes seem to be the highlight of his features. I looked away casually as he turned to find me looking his way. I laughed at myself and looked down at the concrete.
"Lets go in." I smiled and lead him over to the school campus.
He exchanged smiles and followed close behind.
"We need to get you registered."
The school seemed very quiet and calm. Usually at this time of year, everyone is taking their time to fix their hair, get starbucks, barely waking up or even still laying in bed. Not me, I wake up early for zero period. Not today though, today we are registering Vandike into the school because he said so. It wouldn't be what I wanted if I were to be a guardian.
I ruffled my hair as we stepped up the steep stair case to the office.
"Eva.." a voice came from behind me and Dike as I turned to see whonit was. It was Josh Killinger.
"Goodmorning Josh." I continued walking up the stairs with in a hurry.
"Where have you been lately? You haven't been at school or updating on Flikr," He hesistated, "and who this guy?" He directly pointed the question to Dike.
"Well he's..." I stopped in a stance and looked at Dike and back at Josh.
"I'm new. Just moved in a few days ago. She's just showing me to the office." Dike blurted.
I looked away in relief and picked up my feet from my tracks and continues to walk into the glass office doors.
"Eva, baby where you going? You look smokin' with that new hair color babe." Josh begged for me to come back. Yeah...not gonna answer that because obviously, I'm heading to the school district office. I don't have time for guys like him.
