Y/n's POV
By the time I was ready to go home, a week later, I had two more seizures. Doctor Thomas gave me the medicine I need for my epilepsy. It's actually really scary having epilepsy. Jade told me though, that my doctor has patients with epilepsy that haven't had a seizure in years. So, I think I'll be okay.

I am so excited to go home. Being in a hospital room for 5 weeks will do that to you. I am a little worried about going back to that empty house after everything that's happened, though. I'm also a little worried about school...in more ways than one. On one hand, I'm freaked out to go back because I don't want to have a seizure while I'm there. On the other hand, I feel stressed because I can't go back for another week and it's already March 30th. Which means that's there's exactly three months until graduation. I think it's safe to say that this has been the worst year of my life.

"Do you want to be on the couch or upstairs in bed?" Jade asks as she helps me into my house. "The couch is fine. Thanks." I say.

Jade starts rushing around, getting me a blanket and water and everything else that she can possibly imagine that I might need. "Jade, babe. I'm okay, I promise. Come sit down." Surprisingly, she actually listens to me and sits right next to me.

After a few minutes of silence, Jade speaks. "Listen. I've been thinking." She starts. "Uh-oh." I say with a smirk. "I don't feel comfortable with leaving you here. By yourself. So...I was thinking that maybe I could stay here with you for a while. You know, to make sure you're okay."

I smile at her and nod my head. "I love that idea." I say. I lean over to her and quickly peck her lips before speaking again. "You should go talk to your parents. Make sure it's okay." "Y/n, you know they won't care. They barely notice when I'm there so-"

"Just ask!" I interrupt. "Fine! I'll call my mom." She says, rolling her eyes. She truly is the queen of the eye roll.

"Hi mom." She says. "Y/n just got out of the hospital. Can I stay with her for a while so she's not alone? To make sure she's alright." There's silence for a minute while her mother speaks. "Okay thanks bye."

"I told you." She says, walking back over to me. "Well it was still the right thing to do to ask." I respond. Jade then gives me a wide grin and sits next to me on the couch again. "You are pretty much the most amazing girl I know. You know that right?" She says, wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Oh, yeah?" I bite Jade's bottom lip. "Yeah. You're so good and so kind and I love you so...so...much." "I love you too baby." I say as I rest my forehead against hers. "You're pretty great too." I say and I giggle as Jade bites my bottom lip saying, "oh yeah?"

Only this time, no more words were spoken after that. We got too distracted by each other's lips.
