We talked for hours but it only felt like seconds
I was falling effortlessly and without caution
He said he was lucky to be talking to a beautiful girl like myself
I shook my head as my cheeks turned pink
How oblivious would I be if I didn't know I was drowning in a fantasy

The fantasy that he could ever love a girl that wasn't familiar with a love that didn't pack a punch
