2. Princess

Not long after a week, the princess arrived at the demon's palace. 

The carriage halted right in front of the many stairs that led to the entrance of the Emperor's home. General Jeno stood firm as he watched a black-haired soldier walk to the door of the carriage and pull it open as he curtsied and brought forward his hand to help the princess.

There she was the mysterious Angel Lady

Jeno looked closer as she was finally out, whole.

He couldn't see her face as she wore a brown hoodie, she didn't wear a frock but she wore trousers and a fitted short top. The only thing visible to Jeno's eyes was the princesses pale slender white hands. This made Jeno more curious as rumours said that the princess was beyond beautiful and was more of a holy being.

"Welcome Lady y/n," said Jeno who bent at a 90-degree angle.

"It is with great pleasure that I General Lee am here to welcome you on your visit to the Eoduun Agma palace. The Emperor is quite excited to see you, your highness," said Jeno who was baffling about the excited Emperor.

The princess nodded and followed the General along with her good looking guard. Finally reaching the chamber the General excused himself in.

"Sire, the princess has arrived," mentioned Jeno.

"Princess?" murmured Jaemin confused but after a short, while he shook his head on  recalling the memory.

"I am busy tell her to wait." Said Jaemin coldly as he looked back to his stacked paperwork.

"But your highness, with all due respect how may I suggest for the Princess to wait?" said Jeno confused.

"With your words, Sir Lee," said Jaemin unbothered to lift his gaze from his work.

"Sire," Said Jeno curtsying defeated, as he closed the door to the Emperor's chamber.

" A heartfelt apology, My lady, the Emperor is a very busy figure. I hope you wouldn't mind taking a look around the palace grounds till he can accompany you of his audience?." Said General Lee nervously.

"Is he?" said the princess.

Little did Jeno know that the y/n had overheard the arrogant conversation that just took place between the Emperor and the General.

Jeno looked up in surprise as he finally heard the voice of the Angelic maiden.

Jisung; The princess's guard, Knew straight up as soon as the 2 words left the princess's mouth. The tone which followed it was something that worried him.

she's planning something, thought Jisung.

Y/N was annoyed at the attitude the prince had shown towards her.

we both are of the same standard and I had travelled miles to see this Emperor who was spoken so highly of, what's with the attitude, of this wench, she thought as she walked passed Jeno and into the Emperor's chamber uninformed.

Jaemin was slightly surprised by the appearance of this unrecognisable figure that made him get up from his cosy seat.

"It's a pleasure to Meet You Emperor Na Jaemin," said y/n as she lifted the hoodie that covered her face.

Jaemin stared dumbfound as Jeno walked in only to gape in awe.

The rumours spread about the Princess's beauty did injustice to her.

She was beyond beautiful, unable to find words to describe her beauty Jeno and Jaemin could only stare.

Y/N had sapphire blue Jewel-like eyes and her face was perfectly structured as her White dove hair completed the beauty.

"I see you make your guests wait? How impolite your highness," Said y/n grinning.

"Well it looks like you have no patience my Lady, isn't that considered impolite," said Jaemin locking gazes with y/n.

"But let's just say that my impolitness can be justified unlike yours, you seem to be inconsiderate," said y/n confidently staring back.

"Tsk," said Jaemin clearly impressed at the princesses boldness.

"I will definitely give you my audience Lady y/n but for now you must be exhausted how about we talk in person at dinner?" said Jaemin.

3 days had passed since the embarrassing encounter y/n was astonished at how the Palace was different in comparison to the way she imagined it to be.

Y/n stood in the apple field where tea was arranged for his Majesty and her.

 Jisung stood a few feet away from the princess's as he laid his head back and rested against the apple tree.

A few moments passed and finally, the emperor showed up with his guard, General Lee.

His Majesty walked in only to see a beautiful maiden wearing a white dress that complimented her hair which had been dressed with a sapphire ornament.

The princess seemed to be busy staring at the fruit of the tree: the ruby apples.

"I see you like apples?" said Jaemin standing beside y/n looking in the direction she looked at.

"What? yeah their tasty but I wasn't staring because of that I was staring at the colour, don't the apples look like ruby embroidered on a green velvet cape?" said y/n who turned to look at Jaemin.

"Hmmm, come to think of it, yeah," said Jaemin. Y/N couldn't help look at his sharp features. Indeed the words she heard about the emperor's looks did justice to him.

Jaemin reached high and plucked an apple as he turned to y/n and handed it over.

"Try it!" 

"Thank you," said the princess as she held the apple.

"But wait," said Jaemin as he took it from her grasp and handed it over to Jeno.

"Hygiene first," said Jaemin as he showed the princess to her seat.

This got y/n thinking, but after a short minute Jeno came back with the apple and handed it over to the princess

"Thank you, good sir," curtsied y/n.

The princess then took a bite and smiled. Unaware that Jaemin was staring at her actions.

"To be honest the Emperor doesn't enjoy fruits so he hasn't exactly eaten these," said Jeno.

"Oh, this tastes good, like honey." said the princesses as she brought forward the apple to Jaemin's face.

"Try it,"

Jaemin could only stare at the sun glistening against the princess's sapphire eyes, but then unconsciously Jaemin leaned in forward and clenched on to the princess's wrist and took a bite of the apple. 

There was a moment of silence as his emerald eyes locked gazes with hers as he still held on to her wrist.
