6.The agreement

The royal tailor completed taking the measurements and had taken leave.
Emperor Na Jaemin and his bride to be Y/N sit across each other quietly enjoying their tea that had been prepared.
"My Emperor with all due respect may I ask as to why you agreed to this marriage even though you refused all previous proposals?" Said Y/N as she locked gazes with Jaemin.

"It seems rather strange for such a highly dignified Emperor of such rich lands to suddenly agree to marry and with all the rumours that have been circulating since the last state meeting you clearly stated that you would never wish to engage in any affair with any lady or don't wish of anyone to hold your progeny? So why the sudden change of mind my highness?" Said Y/N as she placed her teacup gracefully on the table and stared intensely at the grinning male in front of her.

"You're rather very sly and impressive when confronted. All the Intel I gathered about you definitely helps complete the mould into being the mysterious lady of the Sapphire lands. You definitely hold firm your description and image. Why do you think I agreed to this princess?" Said Jaemin as he grinned while he crossed his legs and rested his head on his hand that had been resting in the arm of his couch.

"My guess is that you want to manage a large empire so by joining hands with our empire which is second to your empire in the current war you can successfully have the strongest and most powerful empire. Enough to satisfy your demon lust. Or to be most accurate you want the aether of our lands?" said Y/n grinning and crossing her feet.

"Not bad at all, truly am impressed but that's only quarter of the plan I've plotted. You must be aware of who I am by now, I mean who I really am. You are aware of what happened to my father right? I wouldn't bear to tolerate anyone who stands in my way. When it comes to mana surges, power and war I must say it truly turns me on and pleases me. But it was rather disappointing to know that my uncle was the one who held the second most powerful lands because my fathers last wish  I refrained myself from attacking your lands. My father truly deeply loved his younger brother or more clearly your father lady y/n." said Jaemin as his bangs covered his eyes causing the emerald orbs of his to shine thus leading to the inner demon in him to be seen.

"Of course am aware as to our kingdom's relationship after all only the royal's and the most trusted servants are aware of the relationship of the crimson knight who betrayed the Sapphire dragon's because of lust. To be more clear your not as different from your father. I see the lust and greed for power flow perfectly in your veins." said Y/n calmly.

"It is true that my father married the demon princess, my mother, for power because he wasn't blessed with the dragon mana however I managed to erase his existence before he got too greedy and tried to destroy our demon motto. But nevertheless, I truly hate the Sapphire dragons even without a relationship with family ties so you must be surprised as to why I agreed but before I reveal my plan I would truly appreciate knowing what your motives are? Or being more precise what is the dragon's motive?" Said the Emporer confidently.

"Okay let me get to the point, I am here to sign an agreement. You must be aware of the secret marriage agreement that was made between me and Emperor Lucas however even before we could publicly announce our engagement news arrived that the engagement was just a distraction and that he wanted to kill me and take over our empire once our marriage had been tied. Our kingdom tried their best to call off the engagement but he started attacking the people and causing trouble. We couldn't do much but then realization dawned upon us. With much more power and with a better finacee for myself, he would definitely back down but he was, however, the Emperor of the 3rd strongest Empire so you were practically our last hope. But however we were generous enough to let you know, we are practically lending you power I wouldn't force you into this but if my marriage to him gets confirmed it could be disadvantages to your kingdom personally and you also know of what and who I am so if I form an alliance with him on your decline you will be losing a great amount of mana and aether." said Y/n.

"You know what you practically read my mind, firstly the reason I agreed to this was because of power but however even if Emporer Lucas did form alliance with your kingdom I was certain it would break off but nevertheless it definitely pleases me to be the advantages one and who said I refused this agreement?" said Jaemin as he walked closer to Y/N and ran his fingers through her hair.

"But my lady my goal was you, You are known to be a human crystal of aether with your magic, you can conquer lands and probably be a source of life for a planet I agreed to this marriage because of my benefit. Love and family disgust me very much but I agreed to this solely for my purpose but am aware you are your own devil and agreed for this marriage for your benefit we are practically the same," said Jaemin pushing Y/n to rest her had on the couch and playing with her hair.

"Of course myself is my first priority but however this agreement must be kept a secret from the public and other nations. People must be under the impression that our undying love got us together. So if you get what am saying."

"We should act like a couple to not cause suspicion and to benefit us both, but I will accept this on one condition. You must let me use you when I please, as you know I need a benefit from this too?"  said Jaemin grinning as he put a finger under the chin of Y/n and lifted her head to lock gaze with her once again.

"Of course you may my highness and call Mr Y/N since we are pair after all. Also, keep your promise and help me get rid of Emperor Lucas."

"hmmm. how delightful I wanted a reason to destroy that Emperor but now I feel truly happy," said Jaemin as he got closer to Y/n's face.
