Continuing to Carry The Mantle (Sequel to Remarkable, Dance Moms Fic)

Events that happened in between the previous story and the sequel

1. At the start of the 2011-12 dancing season, Abby held an audition to replace Vivi-Anne and the audition was won by a girl around 9 with brown hair and aqua eyes named Kendall Vertes along with her mother, Jill Vertes, who was around 46 with auburn hair and aqua eyes. Jill bought Abby, Shane and even Lauren and Skye gifts, which annoyed the moms because they felt she was trying to get her kid ahead.

2. Brooke fell under the weather in the third week of the competition season and one of Abby's dancers, a 14 year old with brown hair named Payton Ackerman filled in for her, but her mother, Leslie Ackerman, a blonde woman caused trouble with the moms and it got worse when Payton made a cocky comment, saying that she was better than most of the dancers in the group.

3. Two weeks after the Christmas Break, Jill had gotten into a fight with Abby and Shane over Kendall being put back on probation and because of that Jill took Kendall out of the ALDC, it didn't sit well with Abby and crew when they saw Jill and Kendall with the Candy Apples at the competition that weekend. Kendall beat Nia in the solo division, but the girls beat Cathy again

4. When the first half of the season came to a close, the Abby Lee Dance Company went to New York not only to compete, but to audition for a scholarship for the Joffrey Ballet, Chloe won the scholarship, but at the competition, Maddie forgot her solo and didn't place and Chloe got first, sadly for the ALDC, they suffered their first loss to the Candy Apples.

5. At the second competition of the second half of the season, Cathy knew Jill and Kendall didn't fit in with the Candy Apples, calling Jill pushy and opinionated and that's where Jill and Kendall left.

6. A few weeks prior to the ALDC's 2012 showcase, Kendall and Jill returned to the studio with Jill having blonde hair, Shane asked if she was trying to look like Christi, which resulted in laughter and also at the competition, when Paige did a standing back tuck, she injured her foot.
Paige returned to dancing at the ALDC recital after the doctor gave the all clear.

7. A new dancer, who is a girl around 11 named Nicaya Wiley joined the team with her mother, Kaya, but Nicaya didn't last long because the week she joined, her mother got into fights with the other moms

8. The Millers, Megan, Gianna, The Moms and Girls all went to Los Angeles for the second to last competition before Nationals, which was gonna be held in Beverly Hills aka 90210, Brooke recorded her song called "Summer Love Song" and Shane recorded a cover of Tears For Fears' hit song, "Everybody Wants To Rule The World". The moms and girls all said Shane's singing voice was marvelous, because he sounded like Prince and also it was solo week with all the girls having a solo.

9. The Abby Lee Dance Company successfully defended their national title and that made them back to back national champions Chloe won the soloist national title.

10. Once the season came to a close, Abby, Shane, Lauren and Skye stayed in Los Angeles to film a new show named "Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition", Chloe and Maddie made an appearance and did a duet.

11. Through the season, Megan and Shane were still showing signs that they liked each other.

12. The mom that had the most fights with Abby and Shane was Jill instead of Kelly.
