The upcoming week, it was a whole new week for rehearsing for for the next competition and Abby signaled for her son to speak.

"We don't have much to say, but we all want to just look at what fourth place looks like." Shane simply told them. "For this upcoming competition, we'll be heading to Vorhees, New Jersey, where we'll be competing at On Stage America and we're gonna say this once and only once, we don not want to come in fourth again! Let's begin it with pyramid."

They went on with the pyramid and the assignemts were three solos going to Nia, Kendall and Chloe and everybody except for Mackenzie would be in the group dance and two days later, Chloe and Nia's solo and the group rehearsals went smooth and in between rehearsals, Abby, Lauren and Skye went to the front desk and she saw that Shanewas in a very foul mood with a frustrated look on his face.

"What's wrong?" Abby asked Shane, wondering why he was not happy.

"Shane's not happy about something." Skye told Lauren.

"Yeah, but what?" Lauren wondered.

"Mom, LoLo, Skye, a few minutes ago Megan and myself called On Stage America while the rehearsals were going to make sure the routines were on the correct categories and when we asked about which other studios that were gonna be there, they didn't give us any names, but they did say there was gonna be a studio from Skokie, Illinois, which is us and get this, they also let us know that one studio from Ohio was coming too and you can probably guess who that is." Shane grumbled.

"Please don't say it's Candy Apples." Lauren told him.

"Sadly, sis, but it is."

Abby, Lauren and Skye were now as frustrated as Shane was, knowing that they were gonna face Cathy after all. "I bet she'll be coming back with a vengeance and we don't want to be fourth in front of Cathy or she'll never let us hear the end of it."

"True." Abby said.

Meanwhile, up in the observation room, the moms were just talking, then they heard footsteps coming and it came from Megan.

"Hey, Meg." Melissa greeted. "What's happening?"

"Shane and i talked to the competition director and we asked which studios are gonna be there, they said one of them was a studio from Skokie, which is this studio and another was gonna be from Ohio and you probably know who that is." Megan informed.

The moms all groaned.

"Not the granny apple as Abby would put it." Christi muttered.

"Now Abby's gonna work our girls a lot harder." Kelly added.

"If we don't win against Cathy this weekend, Abby and Shane are gonna be like 'We told you so' and Cathy would probably come in our dressing room and rub it in." Holly stated.

"Do you or Shane have any idea on who could be on her team?" Jill asked.

"We tried doing some digging, but nothing came up." Megan said.

The morning of the competition it was 30 minutes past 6:00 am and Kendall's solo was being rehearsed as Shane and Gianna were teaching the group as Abby, Lauren, Skye and Megan watched to make sure the girls nailed it, but they saw a lot of flaws, mostly from Kendall and less from Maddie and Chloe.

"Kendall, what part of stop marking things did you not get?!" Abby shouted. "Maddie didn't get a solo and if we had did that, she wouldn't be marking it and Chloe's got a solo and she hasn't marked things either, they've done their solos full out in all the years they've been dancing in the studio, even Megan, Shane and Gianna never marked anything in their solos when they were dancing here!"
