Chapter 22 The End

Third Person P.O.V

The walk to the motel was silent was the sisters moved along the path. Luna was thinking about her lover while Polly was thinking about what the older female had to go though.

"Hey Luna?"

Luna gave a small hum in response, "Yes Polly?"

"Why didn't you ever come and visit us? I mean you said that you traveled from place to place and kept tabs on us."

The assassin let out a quite huff in annoyance, this person may be her sister but she had no time to explain herself to someone who doesn't understand the simplest of things, "I was trying to protect us all. What you don't understand is that when you have people you love on both sides you try to protect everyone and deal with the pain later."

After she was snapped at the younger slowly moved her head downward only looking at the ground as they walked.

Soon they got to the motel. Polly knew where they were. But it didn't change the uneasy feeling she got from her sister. The aura she gave off was different then she remembered. The carefree female she knew was gone. Only an aggressive and powerful figure was left. One that Polly would avoid at all costs in her life. How had this happened?

Luna slowly reached for the door before a gasp from her sister stopped her.

"That ring."

Luna tilted her head and looked at her sister, "What about it?"

"It's the ring mom gave you when we were younger. How does it still fit?"

Luna shrugged, "I don't know it just does."

Her sister's eyes twinkled, "Maybe it's magic!"

Luna rolled her eyes, "Magic is for children."

Finally there was silence. Luna sighed and walked into the building rolling her eyes when she found her group messing around.

The alpha quickly walked to the elevator her sister's yelling made her stop for a minute, "Where are you going?"

"To my damn room. I don't have time to waste with children. Unlike you guys my mate is on the other side of this war, so I care about winning this fight."

This caught the attention of a few of the new members.

"WHAT'S THAT MEAN?!"

All of the other members sighed and started counting.

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25-"

"WHAT DO YOU THINK! FOR ONCE DON'T ACT LIKE A CHILD AND THINK! IS THAT TOO HARD FOR YOU?! DO I NEED TO DUMB IT DOWN?!"

And then suddenly

Slap.

This had a few members eyes going wide as Luna looked shocked and then turned ready to rip someone a new one.

"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU- oh, hi."

The black haired omega did not look happy at her lover, "Hello love. Shall we go outside."

The way Royalty said it, it wasn't a question. Luna growled which surprised the omega. Her lover had never growled at her like that.

"Luna. N-"

But just as she was about to say more the alpha turned and walked out of the room. Not spearing anyone else a second look, not even her mate.

Royalty just sat there in shock as the alpha walked away. They had a rule, you never walked away in a argument.
